10. Cravings

I had this chapter written since October or so but I got insecure about posting it cause it's kinda stupid and silly. But I decided to post it anyway LMAO

The soft purr of the engine of Naruto's car echoed through the silent parking lot as the blond, with practiced precision, expertly maneuvered his vehicle into an empty parking spot until it was perfectly aligned within the lines.

With a soft click, the engine switched off and the car came to a seamless halt. The blond's sharp vision was quick in catching the graceful movement of his omega's hand reaching for the door handle on his right side.

The movement caused sirens to go off in the blond's mind who made sure to act quickly. In a swift motion, the blond reached for the other's wrist, effectively grabbing it and halting his progress.

Onyx eyes widened in surprise, meeting the other's intense gaze. "What the hell are you doing?! Explain yourself!" Naruto demanded, his expression a blend of disbelief and concern.

The raven-haired omega raised a brow, seemingly unfazed by the alpha's dramatic intervention. "I was just opening the door." He replied coolly, feeling his wrist being held a little tighter.

"What if you would've opened the door, fell, and broke all your bones?! It would be my fault!"

"You're so dramatic." Sasuke chuckled.

"Dramatic?! Me?!" The blond shouted, offended. "And why were you opening the door anyway?! I'm the one who's supposed to do that, that's my job." He asserted, and the raven couldn't help but roll his eyes once again as he watched the Uzumaki open his own door. "You sit tight there, I will open the door." With that, he exited the car, his movements swift and purposeful as he circled around to the passenger side, opening the door with a flourish. "After you, your majesty." He mockingly bowed before offering his hand to his pregnant omega, who promptly took it. "Careful. I've got you." Naruto murmured, voice dripping with genuine concern as he helped his lover out of the car.

Once the Uchiha was securely on his feet, the car door shut behind him with a gentle thud before the blond was promptly locking the vehicle.

Once Sasuke was securely on his feet, the car door closed with a soft thud before Naruto was locking the vehicle. Hand outstretched, the Uzumaki offered it to his omega, who accepted it gratefully before beginning their walk over to the restaurant.

The night had fallen quickly, casting a dark veil over the city despite the relatively early hour. A chill lingered in the air, prompting Naruto to squeeze Sasuke's hand, hoping to share some of his warmth amidst the cold night.

As they walked together, the blond couldn't help but steal glances at his radiant, beautiful boyfriend. His heart swelled with affection as his eyes flitted between the captivating beauty of his omega and his prominent bump that had grown remarkably over the weeks, seemingly defying belief.

Sasuke had reached the eighth month of his pregnancy, and their baby had grown to the size of a honeydew, fact that never failed to make the alpha's heart skip a beat just at the mere thought.

Since the early days of the Uchiha's pregnancy, cravings had been a notable presence in their lives, albeit initially subtle, almost imperceptible, to the point where the blond had merely dismissed them as mere sweet-tooth inclinations.
