It had been a few months now. Charlie flopped onto the couch. Alastor sat down next to her and stroked her strawberry blonde hair. she sighed.
"Al." She said.
"Yes?" Alastor replied with both concern and curiosity in his voice. Charlie stayed silent.
"You need some sleep, Dollface?" Angel asked holding their sleeping daughter.
"Kinda..." Charlie said with a yawn.
"Go ahead!" Husk added himself to the conversation. "Get some rest, we'll take care of her. You too Al!" Husk said. After he did, it took a few minutes, but both of them went upstairs and relaxed as Angel and Husk took care of Annabelle. Husk sat on the couch after putting away the booze, because he probably shouldn't have that around a child, especially at this age. Annabelle was starting to put stuff in her mouth, and grab stuff.
"Do you like Nuggies!?" Angel cooed at the baby. "Yes you do!" His screams of pure delight and happiness watching Fat Nuggets and Annabelle play where louder then ever. Husk chuckled watching the two on the carpet right near the couch playing. Annabelle was on top of Nuggets. She babbled at Angel to pick her up, and Angel did. "You had fun with Nuggs?" Angel asked holding the baby up to his face "of course you did!" He cooed.
"A- A- UNCLE ANGIE!!" Annabelle said before continuing to giggle. Angel stared at the baby in unbelief and so did Husk.
"Say that one more time.." Husk said to the baby. "May I?" He asked Angel. Angel nodded and handed the baby to Husk.
"UNCLE HUSKY!!" Annabelle Babbled and continued her giggling. Angel stared at Husk.
"We might wanna let Smiles and Dollface know..." Angel said.
"Nah!" Husk said. "How about we record her saying something. And show those two when they wake up. Plus, we don't want the Baby taken from us."
"True, true." Angel said rubbing his chin before pulling out his phone. "Come on!" Angel cooed, "say something!!"
"Say, Hi Mommy!" Vaggie cooed as well to the baby, trying to get her to talk again.
"It's no use!!" Niffty gave up completely. "SHE'S USLESS!?"
"Words can hurt." Angel snapped at Niffty.
"Shut up!" Vaggie growled. "I want to hear her if she talks." Vaggie was holding the baby on her lap in a sitting position. "Come on baby! Say mommy!!" Vaggie cooed.
"M- M"
"Yes!!" Angel knew she was on the right track. "Come on! Mama! Mama!" Angel instructed.
"MAMA!" Annabelle finally said. Everyone was cheering and was so excited to show Charlie and Al what they had accomplished during the couple's short nap.
