My Unlikely Hero (KNY Doma meets MHA)

C.7: Intentions

     "So... Like this..?" Todoroki tries to make another ice wall. This time, it was a little smoother rather than having jagged icicle edges...

     "Yes.. Very good, Shoto... Try your best to practice in this way for now on... It'll help you control your ice to eventually form shapes.." Doma praises with a soft smile and congratulatory applause.

     This praise makes Todoroki smile. He tries it again, but ended up with the same results. He was hoping to improve a little more, but he understands that further improvement will take a lot of time and practice.

     All Might soon calls over the students to head back to the classroom. Class was almost over, and it was almost time for lunch. All of the students head back to the locker rooms to change out of their gym clothes and back into their uniforms.

Once they were all dressed, they were excused to lunch. All Might left to the teacher's lounge, and Doma followed close behind. He didn't have anything else better to do, and he was bored...

Doma avoids the sunlight pouring into the room, and All Might closes the blinds to allow the demon to enter and rest comfortably.

"Thank you, sir..." Doma smiles his signature smile and speaks in his usual happy tone.

"Don't worry about it... It's just my job to keep everyone safe..." All Might also smiles reassuringly.

Once the two sat down on a sofa in the teacher's lounge, Doma decides to try and start up a conversation by asking a genuine question...

"What do you mean by 'just your job'..? Are you like.. always helping people or something..?" Doma slightly frowns to hint at confusion and curiosity.

    "Well.. Actually, it is an occupation... It's my job to save and protect people from villains and further harm as a hero..

     I'm a professional hero.. and these students you were teaching are training and learning how to become pro heros as well one day..." All Might explains as he leans back against the sofa.

    "Professional heroes...? You save people from.. bad people...? Like... demon slayers do.. from demons..?"

    "Uhm.. That sounds correct.. I believe.."

    "People aren't scared of pro heroes... just like slayers.. They're loved.." The demon mumbles his thoughts under his breath...

     All Might's smile ever so slightly falters as he listens to the demon's words. He was confused as to what Doma is talking about, let alone referring to.

     "Is it possible if I... If I can become a professional hero...? I want to change.. I don't want people to look at me like I'm a monster... I don't want them to be scared, I want them to be happy..." Doma speaks in a soft tone as if this means a lot to him..

     All Might was speechless for a few seconds. He didn't even consider the fact that this demon could even want to save others as a hero.. Doma was said to be powerful, so he could possibly be a great addition to the heroes...

     "Well... It could be possible.. But from what I know, you need to take and pass at least four years of a hero course... Then take the test to gain your professional hero license.. It takes time, but it should be possible..."
