Chapter 5

Abhira and Armaan have been staying at the hospital for 1 week. Dadi sa still doesn't know about the Birlas. Today was the discharge day.

At Poddar house.

Dadi sa was ordering everyone making sure everything was ready

"Ma sa we haven't seen Armaan for a week now, where is he?" Questioned Vidya while Ruhi froze

"I have sent him to bring someone home, so now prepare everything," ordered Dadi sa

That's when Armaan and Rohit came, Armaan was pushing Rohit's wheel chair and entered the house with a smile.

Seeing Rohit everyone had tears in their Vidya ran and hugged him and started scolding him for leaving her.

"How did get these injuries? Should we go to a doctor?" Questioned Vidya.

"No ma, he just came from tge hospital and doctor has already spoken to Dadisa," said Armaan,

"Ma sa, you knew where Rohit was," asked Vidya,

"Yes I found out a week ago, since the doctor said he can discharged within a week, so I didn't tell anyone Rohot was also not in a condition to meet anyone, " said Dadi sa and no one could even question her and just nodded.

The family memebers soon got busy with Rohit making Armaan feel left out but he just brushed of that feeling and was about to go to his room when Manisha came near him asked him, "Armaan, where is Abhira?"

"Chachi voh, she went to meet her friend," lied Armaan when he knew Abhira must be in Birla mansion afterall Shiv and Ishaan weren't ready to leave Abhira and Abhira also wanted a break from Poddar house, she even called Armaan and told him to come after he dropped Rohit but he denied.

"Ok, can you give this parcel to her," Chachi said giving Armaan a parcel, Armaan nodded and took the parcel with him.

He was curious what was in the parcel so he texted Abhira, who replied to the text by asking him to see what is inside the parcel.

Armaan opened the parcel to find a teddy bear and note,
Be ready Abhira, I am coming to take you back with me,
Yours truely Yuvraj.

Armaan became tensed, he texted Abhira telling her the parcel was his which he ordered under her name by mistake.

Armaan knew he shouldn't hid this but Abhira was at birla mansion and if she had a breakdown he can't comfort her.

Abhira on the other hand was having her breakfast, was confused as to why Armaan ordered something under her name and just shrugged it of.

After having breakfast Ishaan dropped Abhira at the Poddar House, before leaving he kissed Abhira's forehead and gave her a hug. They bonded real well in the past week. It was as though they knew each other for ages.

All this was seen by certain someone, Abhira bid Ishaan bye and went inside the house, today was a Saturday she didn't have college nor did she have internship.

She entered the house and saw everyone busy talking to Rohit, so silently went upstairs reminding herself again that this isn't her family, Dadi sa might be trying to understand her but Abhira knew all these efforts won't make a difference.

In her room she saw Armaan, who had laid down on the bed, she placed her bag on the sofa and silently slept next to him, she put her hand on his chest and closed her eyes.

Few seconds later, she thought Armaan must be feeling uncomfortable and was about to remove her hand when Armaan held it tightly and whispered, "let it stay, please" Abhira nodded and let it stay there.

Armaan turned to face Abhira and put his hand around her waist and brought her close to him.

"Feeling lonely," Abhira asked to which Armaan nodded.

"You have me Khadusmaan, I will always be there for you," said Abhira as Armaan buried his face in the crook of her neck.

While one of Abhira's hand was caressing his hair.

"Abhira," Armaan spoke, "yes khadusmaan," Abhira replied while stroking his hair.

"Go on a date with me," said Armaan,

"A what?" Abhira asked suprised by his question,

"Date, I want to get to know you, I want be more than friends, I know I confessed yesterday but I want to take it slow," said Armaan,

"Ok," said Abhira

"You know ice skating," asked Armaan,

"I know I am clumsy, but I love ice skating, especially dancing on the ice, they have always helped me express my emotions," said Abhira.

"Hmmm, how was birla mansion? " Armaan hummed,

"Ir was great, and why are picking up the most random topics to talk," Abhira asked.

"Simply, tell me more about your family, " said Armaan.

That was it Abhira begun ranting to him about everything making him smile, he wanted to hear her voice, it has been more than two weeks since she properly spoke or smiled, he knew she was dwelling in depression and he hsd to help her.

Armaan has been through that phase, when he turned 16 his family sent him away to hostel and whenever he used to come for holidays no one paid attention to him, he was always alone, no friends, and no one to talk to, seeing his psrents always fight, and the digusted looks thrown by dadi sa, that he became sucidal at a point but that was past, It was not until he became a lawyer that dadi sa started bonding with him.

He was finally recieving the attention he wanted and for that he would do anything, he always recieved conditional love that he didn't know what unconditional live was, until Abhira cane in his life.

Abhira though at initial days they were fighting, but after they became friends she showed him what unconditional love  was, the entire family was their to comfort Rohit and his other siblings but he had noone. His father didn't have time and his mother was always behind Rohit.

Though she claims to love him more than Rohit her actions speak louder than words.

He had to become a second parent to all his siblings especially Rohit, Krish and Charu, due to the broken relation of their parents. He never wanted then to face what he faced that was the main reason they all are having a smile on their face.

But now when  he realised his love for Abhir, that for once he felt wanted, loved, and he wasn't just a mistake, or a failed abortion, he wasn't ready to give up this feeling for anyone, not his family nor his siblings. Yes he is selfish but this feeling if being wanted made him feel happy, he will cherish Abhira, he will always communicate with her because lack of communication destroy's a relationship.

He will kill Yuvraj and make it look like an accident if he tries to hurt his princess, or even if he tries to come close to her.

"Armaan I am hungry," said Abhira,

"Want to go out and have something," asked Armaan to which Abhira nodded.

They both went out and had puchka, and ice cream. No one in the house noticed their absence except for Ruhi.

Ruhi was now conflicted between her feelings for Armaan and Rohit, ine tjing she was sure is that Armaan no longer loves her, he doesn't even prioratize her anymore, when he came to Goenka house to bring her back she asked him to promise her that she will be his first priority which he outrightly denied and told her that she can come to Poddar house or she can stay in Goenka house he didn't give a shit about it, the only reason he came was because of dadisa.
