Twenty- eight days.
That's all that's left for my wedding.
My life seemed meaningless. Controlled. Like instead of paying for my sins for my past life in the afterlife, I am paying it now.
Today was the day.
From today, Dahyun and the Queen would come to stay with us and prepare for the wedding. And sadly, Choi San too.
These days, Yeosang was my everything. My emotional support, my secret-holder, my confidant, my brother.
I nonchalantly put on the clothes laid out for me to meet the family the second time.
"They have arrived, Sire."
"Just give me a moment.", I said staring at the long Persian mirror.
I reluctantly went down the stairs to the meeting room.
And the first person that caught my eyes had to be San. That scoundrel. Did he really have to be dressed up even better than his sister. Did he really have to look like a fucking Greek god in his gold trimmed robes and suit?
I pretended to forget his existence for a moment to remember my own.
Both of the people of the kingdoms bowed at each other.
"Prince Wooyoung, how have you been?" asked Dahyun smiling, once we were seated at the table.
"Fine. How about you, beautiful?" I said, cringing at myself.
Yeosang shot a death glare from the other side of the table but I ignored it.
San coughed one more time. His cold really did not get better.
"We should discuss about the contents and food of the big day.", declared the Queen of Exrelia, smiling.

The conversation seemed to go on for hours. Every single moment was a dreaded hell full of suffering, 'eye talking' with Yeosang, stolen looks at San and Dahyun's bright smile.

Finally, San said,"So, um.. Is their wedding finalised?"
I sighed at his innocent and unknowing question.
"San. That's the exact reason why we will be staying here for a month. How can you be so dense?", said The Queen of Exrelia, Queen Namhae.
The Greek God looked uncomfortable yet relieved. I sighed. However hard I tried I couldn't understand him. His face, his behaviour, his existence, everything was a pure mystery.
Everything about this wedding makes me want to die, but I can't. I simply can't. But, wait.
Can I?
