United after so long, a team hot wheels(ON HOLD!)

*THE NEXT MORNING*
The sun was shining as it always with Brandon on his way to the cafe that rheet had offered to meet up at .
He had alot on his mind that night wondering if this was a sign for something important like a over do meet up or something? Maybe but Brandon wasn't too sure at the time all he could do was find out then and there.

Rhett had been waiting outside the Café for at least 5 minutes at most, conuntinisly messaging Brandon on his phone on how far he was and all that. " so Brandon meeting up with both of us?" Gage, the once lead driver for team hot wheels questioned Rhett with curiosity. " yes! He said he'll be here in a minute in fact!" Rhett happily answered gages question.
Despite Rhett and Brandon not always agreeing with things and Rhett being not as smart compared to Brandon, the two now seem to be on much better terms now as adults, whilst gage was rather surprised at first that his best bro was now really good friends with Brandon, he was very happy for Rhett irregardless.
"There he is!" Rhett shouts with excitement in his voice and the two former racers saw Brandon walking ahead to the location in question, with Brandon waving in distance.
"Rhett! Good to see you again!" Brandon was rather cheerfull to see Rhett but just as he was going to hand shake rhett..Rhett...
"Gage? Is that you?"
Gage was much more different than the last time he saw him, for starters he had gotten much taller than before and was now officaly much taller than him! His hair was now in a messy curly bun and was most definitely longer than previously,he was in some more semi causal attire with a t-shirt with a reference to his former nickname,"Speed-Demon", but regardless of the changes to his appearance it was Gage to Brandon and it honestly made him rather emotional." Yes Brandon is me.." Gage responded softly with open arms. Brandon first action after that response to hug him right then and there letting the tears that threaten to fall come down his checks staying quiet in the process...

"Aww it's good to see you too again Brandon"gage says softly hugging back, "aww that's so adorable" Rhett thought to himself as the two continued to embrace for what felt like hours but was only 4 minutes at most. Brandon and Gage would finally let go with Brandon wiping his drying tears away. " soooo you two fancy a drink now?" Rhett offered both," sure, I'll pay for my own just to let you know" Brandon replied with a smile on his face, " aww thanks dude!" Rhett smiled back as all three would enter the cafe.

Whilst the apspohere was quiet, the conversation between Gage, Rhett and Brandon was vocal with plenty of heart felt moments and laughter and jokes form Rhett end, it's all so joyfully, " I'm glad everything's gone well for you both" Brandon says whilst sipping his latte he ordered," same for you! I knew you get a job linked with the skill of yours!" Gage smiled at Brandon with joy,"

Gage out of all manged to get along with everyone quite well! With Rhett and him being best friends or best bros, wyatt and Gage putting their rivalry aside to work together and of course Brandon and him getting along very well too! Although something was different about their interactions now than before.
From Rhett and wyatts perspective they didn't really see Brandon and Gages relationship  to be anymore than a simple friendship but in reality it much more different than that.
Brandon and Gage would show a alot of appreciation for each other to a much higher extent, like the time Brandon saved all form the DORCs throwing them off the cliffs of doom to then getting Gage a few seconds latter at he fall with his car.
In fact after defating Garry Brandon was vist him to check if he had injured himself as the teams medic( and the others of course) to the two sharing their love for racing for the technical side to the races itself it's almost if the two were ment to be.

Brandon would most definitely having a crush on Gage at the time but never told him his actual feelings sadly. He thought he would get over his crush but Gage was always on his mind over the years and yet the feelings for him only grew stronger... but that's for another day.

The 3 ex racers definitely needed this way overdue catch up would be an understatement.
Then a familiar person would then show up by their surprise!
The man in question had definitely changed to say the least, his dark blue hair was in a low pony tail, he was wearing a soft pastel yellow jacket, and had just received his order but my goodness were they all shocked. It was wyatt!
"Hey gage,Brandon,Rhett I hope life has been treating you well cause my sure hasnt..." Wyatt sat down on a spear chair between Rhett and Brandon.
"Hey wyatt! Nice to see you again!" Gage gave a wave to wyatt whilst wyatt put his head on the table and signed in sadness." Wyatt is everything okay?" Brandon asked with concern in his voice,"unfortunately not brandon" Wyatt replied with sorrow in his voice,"did something happen dude?" Rhett asked wondering what had happen to poor wyatt.
Wyatt lifted his head up and sigh once more..
"I just found out that granny gran...has..*sign* passed away due to old age..."

CHAPTER END
Yep I'm so sorry to say this but granny gran will only appear during the flashbacks for this book
Wyatt unfortunately found out that his grandmother has passed on due to old age, whilst on the other hand both wyatt and Gage have officially turned up at last now the whole team is reunited! Just not In a way that Brandon or Rhett thought.
I didn't focus too much on what happend to Gage but next chapter we'll get more details on him and wyatt of course! And angst for the next chapter(sorry)
I will admit this isn't my best chapter in the world but I glad I got the chapter done in the end tho.
