"Alright, do you have any ground rules or specific family details I should know?"

"We'll discuss those later. For now, we need to make it seem like we're getting to know each other because my sister is literally watching us," She said, I placed my hand on Chloe's cheek drawing her closer. With my other hand, I gently tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, locking eyes with her. A blush appeared on her cheeks.

"Is this enough, or should I try harder?" I asked, still looking deeply into her eyes. I leaned back slightly, giving her some space.

"Just treat me like you would any of your girlfriends. Even your friend, Alex, shouldn't suspect that we're not actually together," she replied. That was my cue. I tossed some money on the bar to cover our drinks and smiled at Chloe as I took her hand, leading her out of the club.

"Now there can be no doubt. By the way, do you happen to live with your sister or parents?" I inquired.

Since Chloe lived with her sister, we ended up at my place. She drove us there while I had consumed alcohol, and she had only had lemonade or something non-alcoholic. I was relieved to find that my car remained unscathed during the journey.

I unlocked my front door and allowed Chloe to enter first. Following closely behind, I kicked off my shoes and dropped onto the couch in the living room.

"Would you like something to drink?" I offered, getting up from the couch and heading to the kitchen to fetch some water for myself.

"A glass of water would be nice," she replied, joining me in the kitchen. She perched on my countertop as I handed her the glass. It was time to address the important matters so that we wouldn't have to worry about them later.

"So, girlfriend, I need some details about your family, like your parents birthdays and the aunt that nobody likes, these things may not seem important to you but they are"

"Ok, mom's birthday is on november 3rd and my dad is born on july 10th both in 1979, I don't have that type of aunt or uncle, I have one little sister that you know of and one big brother that will be having an eye on you I can assure you that" a soft chuckle escaped her lips "2 close cousins that comes at every family dinner with their parents, at the dinner will also come my siblings boyfriend and girlfriend, and my grandparents from dad's side as well as my grandma from mom's" she quickly said all those things barley allowing me to memorize them

"That was fast!" I say trying to note everything that she said, not even gonna lie I am a little afraid of her brother but it will be a plus if I befriend him and get him on the ones that believes us

"Yeah, that's all that you need to know for now about my family, as about me I am 21 born on august 15, as you can clearly guess I love modelling, I also really like painting and reading, favourite colour red, I like flowers, my most loved one being lilies, that's pretty much what you will be asked by my family in case of something, now tell me about you"

"Nothing much to say about me, I am 24, just a photographer, born in may 23, I also like reading, that's all" I speak as I get out of the kitchen with her behind me, we got in my bedroom, I throw on the bed some clothes for her to sleep in and some for me

"I'll ask more tomorrow, I will go change in the bathroom really quick"

As the day begins, I find myself waking up to the sound of the alarm. Slowly opening my eyes, I realise that Chloe is peacefully sleeping in my arms. How did we end up in this position? I'm not quite sure. I carefully turn around, trying not to disturb her, and reach for the alarm to stop its annoying noise.

Feeling a bit groggy, I drag myself out of bed and make my way to the bathroom. I strip down my clothes and step into the warm shower, letting the water cascade over my body. As I shampoo my hair, I can't help but let my mind wander, thinking about the events of the previous day and the unexpected turn my life has taken.

After I finish showering, I realise that I don't have any clean clothes to change into. I'll have to make a quick dash back to my bedroom in just a towel, with Chloe still sleeping in there. I tightly wrap the towel around my body, ensuring it won't slip, and quietly make my way to the closet. I grab some random clothes and hurry back into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

Once I'm dressed, it's time to wake Chloe up. I approach her side of the bed, trying to gently rouse her from her slumber. I softly touch her shoulder and whisper her name. As she slowly wakes up, she seems a bit confused at first, but then the memories of last night flood back into her mind.

"Good morning, Chloe," I greet her as I head towards the bedroom door. "Would you like to stop somewhere to buy breakfast? We don't really have time to eat at home."

"Morning to you too," she replies, getting up and grabbing her clothes from my office chair. "That would be great. I'll be ready in five minutes."

"You can borrow some of my clothes if you want," I suggest, turning to open my closet doors for her to see.

"Thanks, Emma. Just give me a t-shirt and some jeans, and I'll be happy," she says, coming up behind me.

"Your wish is my command," I say with a playful smile, handing her the clothes she requested.

Chloe heads into the bathroom to change, and I take the opportunity to grab my phone and wallet. I leave my bedroom and start searching for my keys, eventually finding them in the spot where Chloe sat on my countertop last night. I quickly grab them and head to the front door, slipping on my shoes as Chloe emerges from my bedroom.

"You look cute," I can't help but blurt out, immediately feeling my cheeks flush with embarrassment. Chloe's face also turns a bit pink as she approaches me and puts on her shoes.

"Thanks," she says, opening the door and stepping outside.
