Tuesday, 9th April
Elizabeth woke up from being startled from the loud, ringing from her annoying alarm. She tried to turn it off, but then realised the
time. "Oh shoot! im late for School," Elizabeth muttered. She jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom to brush her teeth, whilst trying to tie up her hair. She ran to her wardrobe to get her clothes on for School, then she ran downstairs to grab her bag and get a snack. "The bus will be here any minute now." The young girl mumbled. As she said, the bus came. Elizabeth ran outside and jumped onto the bus.
"Hey Elizabeth!" shouted a voice, it was Nancy. "Hey, i thought i was going to be late then." replied Elizabeth. "Yeah, me too." Nancy said. The young girls got out their nokia phones and started playing their games. After a while, they were at school and they both walked off the bus. "Elizabeth, what are you wearing tonight?" asked Nancy. "what do you mean? nothing, why?" questioned Elizabeth. "Ohhh! You dont know, Prom is tonight! Didnt you know?" Nancy replied. "What! at what time?"exclaimed Elizabeth."its right after school, it ends at 5pm. We will be there for 2 hours." Nancy responded. "Alright, thats fine.." "See you after class!" shouted Elizabeth down the halls to Nancy.

After their classes, Elizabeth walked down the halls with Nancy. "Im so excited for tonight, aren't you?!" exclaimed Nancy, in excitement."Yeah, are you going with anyone?" replied Elizabeth. "No, you?"
"Nope, anyway, ill see you at prom! bye!" shouted Elizabeth "Bye!"
When Elizabeth got home, she heard her mom and dad arguing. She went in to see, but when her mom saw her, she just took out all of her anger on her. "Elizabeth! You are just such an ungrateful child! You never want to spend time with us, you never want to see us, You never want to do anything with us! Your such a disappointment to us!". Elizabeth started crying and stormed up to her bedroom before slamming the door. "why does my mom hate me so much! what have i done to her!" Elizabeth cried. Elizabeth remembered that she had prom, so she went to her wardrobe and looked for a dress to wear. she found this pretty Royal Blue coloured dress.
"This looks gorgeous, im going to wear this." Said Elizabeth, while admiring the dress. As Elizabeth was about to walk out the door, her mom stopped her. "where do you think you are going this late?" her mom asked. "Prom, is it a big deal?" exclaimed Elizabeth. "In that dress, yes. Yes it is." her mother shouted back. "Go change!" her mom shouted. "Fine!" Elizabeth stormed back up into her room, looking in her wardrobe again. "no...no...no...ummm...nah...no..no.." "Yes!" Elizabeth found a very pretty red dress. She puts it on and looked in the mirror and smiled. "This looks so good on me..." Elizabeth whispered to herself in awe. She walked down the stairs, quietly, making sure her mom wouldnt see her. She managed to sneak out to prom and when she got there, she had a blast. When she came home, her mom and dad were already fast asleep. She snuck back into her room and she gently pulled off the dress and put it back where it was inside of her wardrobe. she went to her bathroom, brushed her teeth and took a warm shower. She slid into her pyjamas, hopped into bed and fell fast asleep.
