Chapter 5

I was doing well in school, so one day my teachers and principal told me that I was going to be sent to a school in Metropolis. I was pretty happy. So a few days later, I was all packed and ready to go to Metropolis. I headed on to the plane and I was off, no turning back. It took a few hours to get there, but when we arrived it was amazing. My principal gave me then address to the school, so that's where I was headed. It was was a huge building, and I thought it wasn't a school, but it was. I went in and I met the principal. She really liked me and wanted to make things easy for me on my first day. So she sent me to a room and gave me some work to do. The principal left the room and I started on the work. A hour later I heard somebody yelling something. The voice got louder, and louder. Finally I could hear what they were saying. "EVERYBODY GET OUT OF THE BUILDING NOW!" So I grabbed my things and headed out the door. I tried opening the door, but it was locked. I kept trying to open the door, but it still wouldn't open. I was so scared, so I yelled for help. "SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!" I had to see what was going on the other side of the door, but I know I couldn't do it, but tried anyways. I looked at the door and I could see what was going on the other side! "What the heck!" I closed my eyes and opened them again, and I could see threw the door still. Everybody was running and panicking out the door, so I yelled again "HELP ME I'M IN HERE, HELP!!" I looked threw the door, and a boy came and tried helping. The boy was doing everything, but still couldn't get the door opened. He looked up at the ceiling, he kept trying to open the door, but then some girl who was tuning out the door, grabbed the boy and they both ran outside. I then wondered why the boy got scared when he looked at the ceiling. So I looked up, and saw the building was starting to collapse. It was 5 stories before the building would hit my floor. I looked threw the door again to see if anybody was still there, but there was nobody. Then someone started banging on the door. I looked threw the door and the boy returned. "GET OUT OF THE BUILDING NOW!" I yelled. But the boy didn't listen and kept trying. The noise of the building collapsing got louder and finally the building hit the floor and the whole building collapsed. I knew I was dead.
