Kirigami won the contestant vote to rejoin the game, while Lightning won the challenge. (His ability to fly gave him an advantage.) People were glad to see he was back, but he didn't really care. He felt betrayed by everyone except for Fanny, who couldn't exactly comfort Lightning because of her own conflicts at the moment. Lightning felt alone, wanting to prove himself after being deemed a failure during his elimination. He thought back to what got him out in the first place: resurrecting the fish in TPOT 6. The residents of Goiky didn't often do things casually, but Lightning was aware of a few movie tropes, such as bringing people back to life using electricity. He also remembered that there were a lot of Recommended Characters that perished during the lava flood of BFB 14. Lightning struck the ground, and managed to hit something. An RC came rising out of the dirt, reanimated from the shock. Lightning was proud of himself, and decided to continue. However, the RCs were quite aggressive, trying to attack anyone who came near them. The others found out what Lightning was doing, and shamed him for it. Death Pact Again wanted to have a talk with him, but he flew away before they could. Time passed, and Lightning was isolating himself from everyone else. Eventually, he was approached by Wisp-erer, who had noticed him alone. They had a long talk, and Lightning eventually decided he didn't care what others thought of him anymore. Even if he was to become a villain. And with that, Lightning joined The Coven.
