in which y/n gets a lead role in a movie with Walker Scobell, Ryan Reynolds, and Jennifer Lawrence. She misses her best friend Sunny Sandler but is ready for a new life.

"Y/n wake up already is noon!" Sunny whines as she shakes me in her bed. "Alright I'm up what do you want," I groan as i roll over to face her. Sunny glares at me with daggers in her eyes, "breakfast is getting cold, I'm never letting you stay over again."
I get up and walk over to Sunny's closet and grab a pink sweatshirt to put on over my t-shirt and shorts. "It's freezing in here close the window!" I bother Sunny as I slip her sweatshirt over myself and grab the nearest brush to untangle my hair. "Whatever princess," she says walking over to the window to slam it shut.
Sunny and I are always together, we got casted in a movie her dad was making a while back and ever since I can't seem to ever remember a time we were apart.
"Let's go already," she yells as she pulls my hand and drags me down the steps to her kitchen. "Morning sleepy heads I thought you'd never get up," Mr. Sandler teases as he puts a pancake on each plate for us and passes it across the kitchen island.
"Thanks Mr. Sandler!" I say with a smile plastered across my face. "Y/n we've gone over this you can call me Adam," he says messing my hair with his hand and he walks across the kitchen. I giggle at this and Sunny rolls her eyes. "Dad she's my friend not yours," she groans again. "Yeah dad you're so embarrassing," Sadie shouts from the couch.
Sunny and I scroll through instagram for a while before she turns her phone to me. "You should audition for this!" she says showing me a post about some movie that Ryan Renolds made. "Yeah right because I can get in a movie that Ryan Reynolds is promoting," I shake my head and giggle a bit.
"The odds are in your favor, besides that Walker kid is in it." She says wiggling her eyebrows at me. We had watched the new Percy Jackson series together and I was most definitely crushing on Walker but he didn't even know me. "Maybe," I say with a shrug before taking a bite out of my pancake that was in front of me.
"Whatever," Sunny mutters, getting up to place her plate in the sink and opening the fridge, "mango juice?" she asks me placing it on the counter and I nod yes. She passes me a glass across the kitchen island and I thank her. After we talk for a while about nonsense we return back to her room to continue our endless yapping.
"Want to watch a movie?" I ask her grabbing the remote and turning on Netflix. "You know it! Put on Mean Girls please," she says excitedly and I do. We lay back in bed and climb under the covers and I pull out my phone to scroll through social media. I can't help but think about that movie she mentioned at breakfast.
A good half hour passes before Sunny rolls over to me and smiles. "You should do it!" she says grinning referring to the movie audition. "I'm not sure," I mumble before she hits me with a pillow. "Do it Y/n, please you never do anything!" she pleads and I finally agree. "I guess so but I'll have to get ready to send in an audition tape."
"Yes!" she yelps excitedly and I smile at her. Sunny gets up right away and picks out a simple outfit for me and we set up my phone to record.

After recording and emailing in the tape we decide to go out in the pool for a while before I finally have to go back to my own house.

"Omg did you see Dylan commented," Sunny showed me her phone giggling at his text. "I'm gonna block him soon if he doesn't stop," I say jokingly shaking my head. "We'll have to invite him eventually," she says rolling her eyes and I agree. I think Sunny has had a crush on Dylan ever since the movie but she just won't say it! I can't seem to get it out of her but she's always giggling about him and what not. "My mom is on her way I better start packing," I mumble softly before getting up to walk back inside the house, Sunny follows. When we're finally inside and I have my stuff shoved into my Vera Bradley book bag my mom texts me she's waiting outside. "Bye Sunny, I'll miss you." I say giving her a huge hug before walking out of her room. "I'll miss you too, they grow up so fast," she jokes fake wiping the tears off her face and waving goodbye.
