Allison's Perspective//
It had been five months since Andrew left us. Five months of worrying whether or not he'd been caught. He was my spymaster. He was a hybrid shifter. A fox-headed rat. He was sly like a fox but he was like a rat in most other ways which was perfect.
As the leader of the RATS, I was glad to welcome him into my gang when his parents abandoned him. The poor fox-rat had been abused until he hit the age of thirteen which was when his parents kicked him to the curb because his mother had cheated on his father and that's how he became a hybrid. They tried to pimp him out, but he'd always resist. They were meth addicts.
I paced back and forth in my office. Pondering when Andrew would return. My thoughts going to his sad lore.
"Allison! Andrew is back!" Kylan, my birthday twin, burst into the room. Excitement flooded his expression.
"Really?" I stopped pacing.
"Yes! He's in the kitchen."
"Thanks!" I scurried past him and in the direction of the kitchen. Hopefully, Andrew is still his regular self. Hopefully, he isn't even more traumatized. He doesn't need any more dark lore. Oh but he does.
I entered the kitchen and smiled at my old friend. He looked tired and restless. He slowly turned toward me with a body and sighed, "She peed on me." He dropped her down, landing with a hard thump, and walked out of the kitchen and went to sleep in a dumpster, the only comfort he knew. I stared at the doorway he exited in utter confusion. He was still the same old Andrew. Although, I was hoping we'd be able to catch up. Maybe tomorrow then.
I stared down at the unconscious woman. Who in the world even is this? And why did he bring her here? No contact for five months and he randomly drops a woman in my kitchen and dips. He probably had some... Special relations with this woman... She could be a thot, by the way she's dressed. Why'd he bring me a prostitute? I nudged her with my foot. She was out cold. She didn't even seem alive.
"Andrew told me to give you this. Said he was too tired to stay," my little sister, sat on top of the refrigerator. I didn't even realize she was in here. She tossed a folded-up piece of paper at me. I failed at catching it.
I picked the note off of the floor and opened it:
Allison,
This woman is the alpha prince's mate,
You know what to do,
Andrew.
I did know what to do. She'd be what I'd use to get the alpha prince to leave my terf alone.
"BIRTHDAY TWIN!" I shouted out.
"Yes?" he excitedly rushed into the room.
"Lock her up in one of the guest rooms and leave her a platter of cheese and bread to eat." I paused before adding, "And no funny business!"
"Okay," he looked at her with uncertainty, "does she carry diseases?"
"Probably."
"Okay," he grabbed the woman and ran off with her to do as I asked.
"It's getting late so I'm going to bed," my little sister hopped from the refrigerator more cat-like than rat-like, and sauntered out of the room.
I should sell her for more cheese money. Pimp her out for cheese. She's already dressed for it. That'll make her useful. But that's just a thought. Nah we just gotta keep her locked up in that room. This sudden internal battle is really weird but it do be that way sometimes.
