Twinkle pov:

I stopped enjoying visiting Ruby. Gene and her always threw us out of the room.

Of course, they were in love, but they were starting to annoy me.

On Wednesday, while we were at Gene's home, he was specially nervous.

Suddenly someone knocked at the door. A man was there to deliver something. It was a big box.

He wrote "I love you" on it.

"Hi, Gene! Is that for Ruby?" I said. I felt so sad and jealous because I thought that I was in love with him, but I wouldn't tell him, he loved Ruby.

He looked and me and then said: "Uh... yes... But if you want one, I can buy it to you..."

After a while he asked me: "Why did you think that it was for Ruby?" "Because you're in love with her, Alex told me that".

He got mad, but not with me.

"ALEX! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" he shouted. I had never seen him like that. He was always calm. But not today.

Alex pov:

I was so scared. Gene was mad at me and I didn't know why. At first I thought about hiding, but I realised that it would be useless. So I came out and reached him.

"ALEX, WHY DID YOU TELL TWINKLE THAT I'M IN LOVE WITH RUBY?!" he asked.

"She asked me, and I didn't understand what had happened, so... it was the first thing that occurred to me" I answered.

Gene pov:

Well, now I had to tell Ruby that she was going to have a huge pink teddy bear in her room. She was probably going to kill me.

We went to visit Ruby in the afternoon.

When we entered in the room, she was asleep, but soon woke up. The first thing she saw was the box.

"Th-this is for you" I said.

She opened the box and said: "What's THAT?"

I asked the others to go and I explained everything to her.

Alex pov:

That was the weirdest thing I had ever seen. Why in the world would Gene buy a huge pink teddy bear for Ruby? Logic was not my strong point, but that wasn't making any sense. Unless...

Twinkle pov:

I was so jealous. I had fallen in love with the teddy bear that my crush was going to give my best friend. And she didn't even like it!

When Gene came out, I started crying.

"Twinkle, are you OK?" he asked. I didn't answer.

We went back home. I cried silently for the rest of the day. Alien was the only one that could make me happy.

He was the only one that cared about me.
