Francis's POV
Francis went with his men angrily to a secret laboratory that is built underground in one of his many buildings after finding out that they got a wrong target, he kicked Jeremy a few time to relieve his anger before agreeing to see who has been captured.
Luther looked terrible and weak with different wires plugged into his body; he went for an educational conference in another city and didn't except to run into this people.
Without much power after staying on earth for such a long time, he was captured easily and couldn't defend himself and escape instead he send Dennis a message hoping that she understands it perfectly
"Where did you find him?" Francis asked staring at Luther observing him, he stretch forth his hand and Jeremy took a device which is used to detect someone who is not a homo sapiens and gave it to him.
Francis tests it on Luther to check it out himself and confirmed his words.
"He got caught in one of our traps and we received the signal and hurried over to get him, we didn't except it to be a man" Jeremy explained.
"Everyone out" Francis said and they all went out except Jeremy.
"Hello, nice to meet you" he said jestingly to Luther and move closer to him then tap his shoulders so he can wake up
"How did you capture him so easily?" He asked
"He doesn't seems to have an super ability and he surrendered rather easily that I almost believed he is just a normal human"
Francis walk away and took a lab coat he hang then wore it while Jeremy also did the same, the both of them wore gloves and covered their mouth with an oxygen mask
Jeremy held the chair Luther is tied to and pushes it towards another part of the lab as Francis walk in front of him and opened a door with the back of his hand and he entered a part filled with different samples of animals and humans.
The smell of harmful chemicals filled the air and Jeremy wheeled the chair to a small place that is filled with a different kind of chemical from the rest and set Luther there.
Francis walk around observing the humans in the tubes and saw that they are all died, he used an apparatus to get some of the chemical in a tube containing human and animal respectively then he place it in a tiny piece then used the microscope to read and observe it
After a while, he let out a wicked long and dry laugh then smile satisfactory to himself. Finally, he is getting some good results.
This is the ten batches of humans he has used to test his new virus and things are finally looking good.
Francis gets twenty people all of different characteristics and uses them to test the effectiveness of his newly created virus and improve it each time
"Sir, does it mean we don't need him anymore?" Jeremy asked also happy that their hardworking has yielded a good result
"This is just the beginning, we will move on to the next phrase now and till then we keep searching for her" he replied and Jeremy nodded in understanding.
They have been on this project for years and after the last virus they released, they have been able to make a fortune that has overturned the whole country's wealth.
At the start of the research, two hundred lives were used to start the experiment and begin the process, compare to the number of people used the first time it's nothing.
After receiving help from the strange kind of being fifteen years ago and gaining recognition all over the country and beyond, Francis proceed to create another one ten years back and succeeded although it wasn't perfect
