Summer 1994 was supposed to be good. Suppose being the keyword.
When Apollo's father, Amos Diggory, sounded the bell saying it was time to wake up, (the time being 2:00 AM), the only thing Apollo wanted to do was go back to sleep, their pillow put firmly on their ear to drown out the noise.
Today was the day that the Diggory family, which consisted of Amos, the father, Cedric, the eldest, and Apollo, the youngest, were going to go see the Quidditch World Cup. They were to meet up with the Weasley family and take a portkey to their destination.
Apollo had nothing against the Weasley family, don't get them wrong. But if they had to hear their father talk about how great their older brother is to someone, they might just die of embarrassment.
"'Come on, 'pollo, it's not that bad!" Cedric said, trying to pry his sibling's blanket away. "I thought you liked Quidditch?"
Apollo sighed. "I do, but I don't want to hear people misgender me the whole time."
"If you'd just tell Dad, I'm sure he'd understand," Cedric tried to reason with them. He knew that it was difficult for his sibling to come out to people. He was surprised that they even came out to him.
Apollo sighed again. "You know why I don't tell dad..."
"KIDS!" The voice of their father brought them out of their bubble. "If you don't hurry up, we'll be late!"
Cedric gave Apollo a look before he left the room.
Apollo let out a puff of air. "Yeah, yeah, I know," they murmured to themself.
Finally, they got up from their bed and went to take their clothes they had prepared the day before, and went to take a shower and prepare for the trip.

Sitting on a branch, Apollo looked at the scenery in front of him. The dark sky was littered with stars, all shining brightly, with the crescent moon illuminating them. He sighed.
Cedric was on a branch lower than his, also waiting for the family of redheads to come. Although, he did it more patiently than his sibling.
Apollo looked at his watch, seeing that they had five minutes left before the family arrived. He took a deep inhale and then exhaled it all in one go.
The sounds of chatter brought him out of his reverie. He looked towards the noise with the binoculars he had taken to see the match and, thanks to the moonlight, saw a group of people consisting mostly of redheads. Apollo also saw two people with different colours of hair.
"Dad?" He asked, gaining his father's attention. "Is it just the Weasleys or do they have guests too?"
"I don't know, why?"
"I see two people with different hair colours... Wait... Isn't that Harry Potter?" He mumbled the last part of his sentence, making it so only his brother heard him.
"They might have invited some friends!" Exclaimed Amos, smiling. "Maybe next time you'll invite some of your friends over, hmm?"
Apollo was too distracted watching the group to respond, his eyes wandering towards two of his year mates. Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.
Apollo remembered as if it were yesterday when Ron had received a howler from his mother, because he had used an illegal way of transportation. Apollo could not have believed his eyes when he'd read the story. Ron Weasley and Harry Potter had used an illegal flying car to get to Hogwarts.
