Here Im standing in front of my boyfriend Chenle with his old basketball clothes on, on a basketball court outside.
Y/n: Remind me again why am I here?
Chenle: Youre here to learn how to play basketball.
Y/n: But I dont want to learn basketball.
Chenle: Come on Y/n cant you just pretend to have interest in basketball?
Y/n: No, no I cant.
Chenle: Uhhggg okay how about I buy you some ice cream afterwards?
Chenle said irritated.
Y/n: Heeeii okay.
I said while fangirling because I know Ill be getting ice cream after this.
Chenle: Its just we do a lot of stuff you like. Like I watch rugby with you and I do dance covers with you.
Y/n: number one I understand but number two? Dude your job includes dancing.
Chenle: Yeah but I dont like dancing that much.
Y/n: Oh okay.
Chenle: Okay first things first Im gonna explain everything about basketball to you first.
I nod my head understanding the proses.
[43 minutes later]
Chenle: So do you understand basketball now?
I nod my head yes.
Chenle: You dont understand a thing do you?
Y/n: Nope.
Chenle: Okay lets go through this thing again.
Then he explained it to me again and it took like 30 minutes.
Chenle: Okay do you understand it now?
Y/n: Uhhmm I think so?
Chenle: Okay Ill take it. Come on.
He motion me to the court.
Y/n: Wait were going to play?
Chenle: Yeah I didnt take all that time to explain the game to you for no reason.
Y/n: What??
The only thing I could think about is how am I supposed to play? This dude is near a professional in basketball and I know next to nothing about basketball. But there is no hurt in trying.
Y/n: Okay.
{3 minutes later}
Chenle: Y/n you have to move while you have the ball.
Y/n: In netball, when you have the ball you have to stand still.
Chenle: This isnt netball, its basketball.
Y/n: But its close to netball.
Chenle: Y/n youre a lost cause.
Y/n: Hey at least Im trying.
We were on the court for a few more hours and I finally got the hang of it. But Im still far from good like Chenle. And he kept his part of the deal. He did bough me the ice cream and its a 5 liter tub and Im so happy with my life choices at the moment.
