Dear Diary:
It's been a while since I wrote in this. But I'll tell you what happened since I last wrote. My family lost two people. My brother Josh died a few days after I wrote my last entry. He had stage four Heart Cancer and couldn't get the treatment in time since we caught it too late. My mom and dad practically broke after that. Things have changed since then. Mom lost her job and became a stay-at-home mom.
My dad became a full-time doctor. As life went on into 2020, things got worse. My mom caught Covid and was sent to the hospital. She died a few weeks into 2021. Dad was heartbroken to have lost both his son and wife to some kind of illness. But thankfully, my childhood friend Taylor and her family have been helping my dad with the bills with their smoothie shop Axioms Smoothie Joint. I got a job there and things went up for my family. I met Rick and his brother Kevin who are regulars and the smoothie joint who always makes me smile even on the worst days.
Well, that's been life so far for me. I' have to work in about an hour so I'll have to cut this short. I'll try to write in this more often. But until then, this is the end.
