I quickly got dressed talking a few snaps uploading them on my Instagram story before heading downstairs

I Quickly went downstairs to inform my mother that I was leaving it was now 9:31 a.m and I'm suppose to meet my Best friend Gianna in maypen at 10:00.

"A weh Yah guh inna dat deh piece a shorts deh" My mother asked

"Mommy mi neva tell Yuh seh mi and Gia a gah maypen guh buy clothes?" I said opening the fridge looking for something to drink.

"Oh alright tell har mi seh Hi" She said walking upstairs.

As long as A Gia mi Good because she think she Gianna a dem likkle quiet innocent girl deh weh nuh talk much.

A snake under grass

I took up my bag ensuring my phone,charger and lipgloss was in there walking through the front door ensuring that the door was closed.

I opened my umbrella walking through the gate closing it and calling Gia putting the phone on speaker

The phone ringed for a few minutes then going straight to voicemail

Mi nah call har again eno she lucky.

I was walking down the lane heading to the main road Fi try and get taxi before Gianna seh mi give har time and late

She miserable essi.

"Maypen browning" A taxi stopped at my foot. I entered the taxi and lock the door soon after the taxi man drive off.

I connected my airpods drowning out the people talking and laughing in the taxi.

My phone vibrated in my lap I opened it seeing a message from Whatsapp
