Always with you

It has been months since Gai regained his physical body created by scrimil through the desires of his elder sister, Shurato split gai's soul into two he lived in his physical body while a part of his spirit was still merged within Shurato , Shurato resorted to this to bring peace to Mina's soul all she wanted was to have her brother by her side again Shurato could not stand to leave her to suffer anymore, Gai cares and loves his sister greatly but he could not help but miss the physical presence of his brunette friend, only being able to speak to him in dreams as a spirit. He longed to touch him again. Shurato was his other half after all. growing up Gai was always admired by women and men for his beauty being blessed with a beautiful face, a tall slender figure, exotic almond shaped red eyes and soft light colored hair which was rare for a japanese man combined with an aura of calmness and elegance he was never unnoticed in any crowd but none of this mattered to Gai, he never was the same as other humans . he knew there was something different about him since his childhood and always had a special feeling with Shurato ever since they first met, he felt as if he always knew him, he realizes now that he has always loved Shurato, and this is because yasha-oh and Shura-oh have loved each other for centuries in every life time they had a deep bond, they were soul mates destined to be with each other in every life they have Gai never considered himself homosexual or heterosexual Shurato is the only person he had these feelings for, the gender did not matter to him their love was something pure and one of a kind, they can share the same body as one, they could never be truly apart.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Gai was trying to live a normal life now that he was back on earth and living with Mina, he was happy to have his sister's company but not having Shurato around was leaving a hole inside him, "maybe I do not deserve to have Shurato..after everything I done while  under the black sohma" Gai said to himself as he remembered how much Shurato cried over him, Shurato forgave him long ago, since he does not consider Gai to be at fault for what he did under the influence of black sohma,as he knows Gai would never do any of those things of his own free will, he was a victim used by Shiva but it was Gai who had a hard time forgiving himself he still lives with the feeling of guilt that he let the dark sohma consume him into a person he never would want to be. It was true that to be the successors of Brahma Gai had to be the dark to Shurato's light it was their destiny, but Gai still can't help but feel shame knowing he hurt the person he loved most even if that was behind them now. He thought more to himself "Shurato...do you remember our love through these thousands of years ?"                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Mina could tell something was wrong with Gai, he has been quiet and keeping to himself more than usual, she went to his room, walking over to him as he rested on his bed "Gai, you miss Shurato don't you?" she asked skeptical. Gai looked at his sister with a sad expression "I can't deny that" Mina responded "I understand how you feel, but tenkukai has done nothing but hurt you, you are much safer here with me" Gai did not respond, he did not want to hurt his sister's feelings so he never tried to argue with her.                                                                                                        Gai decided to take a walk outside, he went near the house Shurato grew up in as he continued to think of him, as he got close he saw a young dark haired man standing in front of the house he felt his presence "could this be..." he walked closer, the dark haired man turned around revealing his face Gai had an expression of shock on his face "S-shurato ?!" Shurato ran to Gai and embraced him "Gai !" Gai returned the embrace "Shurato..why did you come back here?" Shurato looked at Gai in the eyes "I missed you I could not stand being away from you any longer Gai" Gai blushed "Shurato...I missed you as well..very much..not a day goes by that I don't think of you." Shurato was surprised to hear these words "Gai I think of you all the time...you were always in my life..as children, as martial arts rivals and best friends, and as my other half..you were always there..when we had to fight as enemies in tenkukai my heart was broken... when you became yourself again the first time I was so happy I cried...but then..Indrah corrupted you with black sohma yet again..after that I thought id never reunite with you again until finally you became free of the black sohma in our final battle, and your soul merged with mine as we became bhrama's successors..Gai the time we were enemies was the saddest time in my life...I just want to be by your side, I could of been selfish and taken your new body with me to tenkukai..but I could not stand to see your sister become destructive because of her love for you..yet I still want you so much" Gai was surprised to hear this confession, he was speechless all he could do was have tears fall down his eyes "Shurato! I need you by my side as well" Gai pulled Shurato's face and kissed him no longer being able to hold himself back, Shurato returned the favor as they kissed passionately.                                                                                            yasha-oh and shura-oh always loved each other but they never been able to live a peaceful life, for centuries there was constant wars in tenkukai Yasha-oh and Shura-oh would always die in battle, and then in their current lives things were not much different first they were forced to fight each other, and then Gai lost his physical body. Mina was not far behind Gai  and Shurato, she walked outside following Gai and was surprised to discover Shurato was there "Shurato?! what are you doing here? Shurato and Gai were caught off guard "Mina I'm sorry but I could not stand to be away from Gai any longer I don't wish to take Gai away from you but...we always have needed each other" Mina thought for a moment, now no longer corrupted she was able to think more logically she knows Shurato did a wonderful thing for her, he could of just taken Gai with him while keeping her sealed away, but he felt empathy for Mina's pain and suffering he sacrificed his own desires for her sake. "Shurato...do you love my brother?" Shurato looked at Mina directly with a serious expression "Yes...and I always have...we been in love for centuries in every reincarnation we dreamt of being together but fate always got in the way" Gai nodded in agreement to Shurato "He is right...sister Shurato is my other half and I am his..without the other we are incomplete" Mina looked saddened but surprisingly she seemed to understand "Gai...Shurato...I wont get in your way anymore..I just want Gai to always be safe please promise me that.." Shurato placed his hands on Mina's shoulders "Mina I promise I won't let anyone hurt Gai again I will protect him with all my power I can't bear to be apart from him anymore" Mina knew Shurato was sincere she walked away "Shurato..please keep your promise and protect Gai".                                                                                                                                                                               Shurato and Gai later that night found themselves making love for the first time something they always wanted to do but could not while Gai was only a spirit that lived in Shurato's body, not being able to physically touch each other was depressing they were excited to finally do what they always wanted, Shurato loved the softness of Gai's pale skin, how beautiful he looked when he made lovely sounds as their bodies embraced each other after the love making session they snuggled up to each other "Shura-oh this is all I ever dreamt of..I love you so much" Shurato kissed the light haired man "I love you too yasha-oh" Gai caressed his face "Do we return to tenkukai or stay here ?" Shurato smiled "as successors of brahma it is our duty to return to tenkukai however we are in a peaceful era right now some time on earth won't be so bad...we can stay here for at least a little bit" the couple fell asleep cuddled to each other in complete content. finally after centuries of going through hell together the demon wolf and lion warriors can have their love in peace.
