The day he DiedAs I walk into the hotel I immediately feel something is wrong, but something else make me feel oddly safe.....but not the kind of cozy wrapped in a blanket. The calm before the storm.
A woman walks up to me, my brain feels fuzzy so I don't immediately think somethings wrong with her, my subconscious mind does and alarm bells ring in my head but I don't leave.
I should have.
The woman looks oddly weird.
She has so head, I can see the pure white bone and the blood dripping down onto her dress, she is holding her head in her hands, the head whispers.
"Leave or you will die"
And she is gone.
If only I had listened.
I continue on to a stairwell, on the very first step someone speaks into the little spirit box I brought with me, it sounds like a young boy.
"Hi!!!" They say I sit on the top step and smile.
"Hi there!" I say I hear a laugh and then a scream....wait....no?
I get up and move to go walk up the rest of the stairs, at the top something pushes me over.
Falling......falling...falling............falling.
I hit my head on something and hear a crack and then thud as I land, something warm trickles down my face.
It hurts.
I suddenly see myself lying on the floor, my leg is twisted unnaturally and my head is bleeding, the blood makes my pure white hair sticky and wet.
My leg has blood surrounding it and it lies limply at a unnatural angle by the knee.
"Oh" I say, staring blankly at my body.
"It seems that I'm dead"
