I felt Keefe's hand shaking and Sophie tightening her grip on mine, holding her head in a confident and determined Sirius Black-looking face. I returned the deep gaze back at Lady Gisela and retorted "What do you want, miss... Lady Gisela, am I correct?" I'd try to guess who she was so she wouldn't guess that I knew everything that had happened.

"Well, at least you read the letter," She noted, pulling out something that looked like a piece of fishnet with jewels on each attachment, placing it on her head. My guess was that that was an ability restrictor. "Anyway, why does it occur to you that I'm here, Flickerwing? To bring you with me for some help!"

"Yeah, well, we already know that you'll turn your back on her, just like with Bangs Boy and Glimmer. How about you leave Kat alone, come with us so Foster and Fitzy can unleash the Fitzphie-Cognate powers to pluck your secrets and any other plans you have for my stupid legacy out of your brain, and we'll all be fine and happily ever after? Otherwise - I already KNOW that Foster's gonna unleash her adorable-when-she's-angry Foster Rage and inflict the HECK out of you!" Keefe shot back, surprising me that 1. he was defending me despite the lack of trust he showed before, and 2. he'd just been faced with the wrath of horror in him. I felt it all, of course, but I tried to withhold it on the inside. It helped me learn a thing or two about Empathy, though; Phew - it was tiring! No wonder why Keefe and Stina had fanned the air around their faces!

Note to self: Get a small fan for myself that is portable.

"Hmm. It seems like you three have already become the best of friends, haven't you? Fine - but you asked for the fight. I might be by myself right now, just expecting Kairi to be here by herself like the normal little human she is. But that doesn't mean I can't land a scar or twenty!" Lady Gisela sighed after simply dodging a throwing star thrown by Sophie and snapped her fingers to conjure a set of knives, three to be thrown back at me, Sophie's and Keefe's bodies.

Thankfully, we all dodged in different directions; I ducked and slid forward to the couch like a baseball player to a base, Sophie dashed to the left towards the side of the kitchen, and Keefe sprinted by the door to my favorite room, and I caught him glancing at the bright colors of the Keeper books on the bookshelf across the doorway.

"Run, Kat!" Sophie shouted from the other side of the room. "You don't have abilities, or any weapons on you - don't worry, Keefe and I can take care of her!" She turned to Lady Gisela. "I'm going to make sure that nobody will ever hurt humans again - not after what happened with my parents at Nightfall!" I could feel the rage inside of Sophie boiling up to her head, which was where I knew her inflicting took place.

But at that moment, that was when I took place beside her to grab her hand, Keefe right by my side.

"Wait, Sophie!" I called as I took her hand.

At that moment, Lady Gisela decided to throw a dagger right at my throat.

However, I responded quickly to her by covering my throat with my hand palm-out, soon releasing a blob of water to hold the dagger in place.

Everyone gasped, eyes wide with shock suppressing any other feeling they had inside of them.

"Who said I didn't have any abilities?" I asked, tilting my head to study everyone's faces.

Sophie was about to say something, but I cut her off. "And although I may not have any weapons, I've got Earth's Universal Solvent." I released my firsthand from Sophie and waved it to create an arch made of droplets around me. "Water is a simple, necessary element in life - it may seem quiet during most times, but it's just hiding its true nature." I flashed a wicked smile at Lady Gisela, thrusting my waved arm toward her, causing the ground to shake a little, then sending a massive amount of water to form a giant bubble around her entire body, sparing her head only.
