Charlie sat in his room. His parents were fighting again. It seemed like it was part of their daily routine now, considering that this was the 3rd time this week and it was only Tuesday. He looked over at his piano and stared at it for a few moments. [Piano looks like the picture]
Suddenly, his eyes lightened once he remembered. It was Gale's shift! Gale was one of the many workers in the castle whom he had been sweet on for quite some time. He opened the double doors of his room and dashed down the hallway down to the garden. He got to the door to the garden and fixed his hair and his coat. He had been in love with the gardener for about a year now, but it was a bit of a forbidden love at this point because of Sage.
He opened the door and saw Gale. He had a flower pot in his hands with a bit of dirt on his nose. Gale smiled warmly at Charlie as he walked through the door. Charlie walked over at him, "Do you need help? That looks heavy," Charlie asked, "Yes, please. It is quite difficult..." Gale said, glancing nervously at the pot, "I feel like I am going to drop it..."
Once it had been placed in the corner of the greenhouse, Gale looked at him, "Are your parents fighting again?" he asked, "Yeah..." Charlie confirmed. He looked at Gale, and wiped a bit of dirt from his nose. Gale blushed a bit, "Thanks..." Gale smiled. Charlie chuckled at his flustered state.
They stood in silence, enjoying each others company. Then, Charlie broke the silence, "Could I help you?" asked Charlie, "With your gardening?" "Sure!" said Gale. "That would be a huge help, actually..." He said, carrying a potted plant over to the corner of the greenhouse.
The silence continued as they worked, until Gale heard somebody stomp down the hallway, "Who's that?" he asked. Charlies heart sunk. It was the last person he wanted to see. Her.
