Ch. 7 Sealing the Wall

It was all a blur. It happened so fast. When I woke up, I was being held in Armins along with Eren. He seemed to be awake. Mikasa was standing in front of us, in a defense position. I give Armin a questioning look. He nods his head in a gesture for me to look around. I do. We were surrounded by Garrison soldiers.

"I'll ask you once more! What are you?" The leader shouts out.

We can't screw this up. We wouldn't be the only ones to die, Eren spoke.

We've always been just like everyone else... I chime in.

We look at each other then look back up. "We are human!"

The leader's face darkens and he mumbles under his breath. I can only hear bits and pieces, but the only thing I can hear clearly is, "Then don't hate me for this." I ponder what he means then it hits me when he raises his hand.

"Armin! Grab Anastasia, I got Eren!" Mikasa yells. I feel my self get adjusted as Armin starts running.

Eren starts yelling Mikasa picks him up. He stops struggling for a moment. When Miksasa passes Armin and I he grabs my arm and wriggles out of her grip. I do the same and bite my thumb. How I knew to do that is beyond me. Just as the cannon goes off I transform into a monster. But the cannonball denies my full transformation.

I climb down and check on my friends. They seem to be okay, Armin was shaken up though. Everything outside of the two titan corpse was basically dead. Everything within was fine. There was a small patch of flowers that was still alive. Eren joins us a second later.

"Is everyone okay?" He asks.

"Yeah, we're fine," Armin answers.

"Good, because we need to get out of here soon," he replies.

"Eren we don't know if they are waiting for the smoke to clear out or are preparing the next attack." I reason.

"That's why we need to escape now! Besides remember what dad said?" He retorts. "Once we regain our memories we need to go to the basement where we will receive help of our abilities!"

I think this over. We could go, but where would we go after that? After we receive the help where would we go? The underground, probably. But we wouldn't last too long. A month or two at most. But if we stay we might be attacked. Or we could get arrested and dissected. Why was this kept a secret from us?! This could be the answer to humanities prayers of the titans going away!

"Crap," Eren curses. "You took to long to decide."

I roll my eyes. The smoke clears out. Armin walks out and towards the Garrison. I stand up to bring him back, but Mika grabs my arm and pulls me back. I give her a questioning look. The answer I receive is her twisting my head forwards.

As Armin walks he takes off his gear. Once he's halfway there he stops and puts his hands up. He and the leader start an argument. It seems as though Armin is winning, because a lot of the soldiers start lowering their blades. The main soldier starts yelling and all the soldiers start to put their guard back up. Armin looks back at us. Then stands in a perfect salute. He begins to tell a plan. From where I sat I saw the leader falter. He regains his posture and raises his hand. It feels like it all happened in slow motion. His hand raising, Mikasa grabbing her blades, Eren and I prepare to transform. Before his hand slams down, someone hold onto it. The person who holds his arm walks into view. Dot Pixis, Commander of the Garrison Regiment. Pixis says something to the leader and waves at us to follow him.

We stand up and follow him to the top of the wall. We walk along for a little bit till he stops.

"Nope not any of you. Eaten by a titan wouldn't be so bad," Pixis muses. Eren and I look at each other. "If it were a sexy lady one."

I scoot behind Eren and Mikasa.

"So tell me of this plan you have to seal the wall."

We finish explaining and wait for his idea of it.

"And you are certain that your titan forms can do this?" He questions.

"We are not a hundred percent, sir." I cut in.

He nods his head and strokes his chin. Pixis waves over a by-standing soldier. He whispers into his ear then shoos him away. Pixis turns back to us with a wide smile.

"Now's your time to shine!" He says. "And prove your use."

Now here we stand. Waiting for our signal to transform or take out titans. The plan is for Eren to transform and pick up the boulder, while Mikasa, Armin, me, and the Garrison keep the titans away. But incase something goes wrong I'm suppose to pick up where Eren left off. Hopefully it runs perfectly smooth.

A soldier in the distance gives Eren and I the signal to transform and put the plan into action. We bite our thumbs and turn. Eren bends down to pick up the giant rock, but he stops and stays still. I walk over to see what the problem is. Suddenly he stands up and swings at the roof next to him with Mika on it. My eyes widen, and I run over to control my brother.

He is about to bring both hands down on the house when I reached him. I jump up, pulling my arms over his head then slamming down on him, locking his arms to his sides. Eren struggles against my hold. I am about to lose my grip when he relaxes and falls. Armin launches himself onto my shoulder.

"Anastasia, something is wrong with Eren," he says. I give him a look. "We're going to need you to finish the plan while we check on your brother."

I nod my for him to know I understand. Armin jumps down and soars over to Eren. I turn to face the boulder. We're screwed I think to myself. I bend over and pick up the key to sealing the wall. As I start walking I can see titans in my peripheral vision. The soldiers prepared to help us start to engage in battle.

About halfway there, I start to lose my grip on the rock. Slowly the boulder starts to fall. Behind me I can hear footsteps behind me. Just as my head is about to be crushed, I feel the weight being lifted off my shoulders. I look behind me to see my twin with the boulder. I step out the way and let him go the rest of the way. He seals the wall quickly and collapses.

 I walk over and disconnect from my titan form. I feel myself fall into some ones arms. Probably Armin, he is always there for me. Unlike some people.. *cough* Mikasa *cough*. I look up and see a titan fall with somebody standing on it. I see the Survey Corps symbol on the persons back

Then darkness....

I'm baaaaaack!! But not for long.

Sorry this is a very late update, I swear on my life I tried to update whenever I could, but I kept getting kicked off the computer.

Anyways, I've found this new thing called Nightcore and now I'm addicted to it. For those who don't know what it is, it's a faster and higher pitched remixes of song. And I love it!

So school starts this Thursday for me, when do you guys start?
