New school, New possibilities

High school: freshman

Readers pov

I get up at 6 so I have time to get ready for my new school I'm going to the seed school of Maryland. It's a boarding school but I didn't want to go last night.

I start to do my morning routine (taking a shower, brushing teeth, getting dressed, and doing my hair) I'm now dressed in the uniform and getting breakfast and the time is 7:25. So I finish my food and start walking to the school because my parents left earlier. I get my suitcase and book bag and walk out the door to the school. I live down the street so I can walk.

When I get to the gate of the school the security guard asked "hello there what's your name" "I'm Y/n L/n" "Ok come on in make sure you check in at the front desk in the school." "Ok, thank you" Then I walked through the gate and in to the school.

I walk through the door and get a pass from the front desk. I ask the lady at the front desk "where do I put my suitcase Miss" "You can put it in the room behind you" she says and points to a room next to the entrance of the school. "Thank you and do you know where I can get my schedule" "Yeah, just tell me your name and I can check  for you" "I'm Y/n L/n" "ok I got it let me print it for you" "ok" I say as I go and put my suitcase in the room and come back.

"Here you go and your first class is on the first floor" I take the schedule "thanks" I start going to the stairwell then to the first floor when I walk out of the stairwell the hallway is full of people. I look at my schedule and see which class I have first. I have U.S History first period second is ELA third lunch then W.I.N? I don't know what that is. Fourth period is Algebra 1 then fifth period is Biology next is Gym 6th. Last it's a community meeting for 7th then I could go to the dorms.

Why are there so many periods

Now I need to find U.S History. "Uhm excuse me" I say to a girl with locks she turns around "what do you want?!" Why is she so mad "can you tell me where U.S History is" "Just open your eyes dumb ass" she says then walks away to a bench in the hallway.

What's her problem

I look around and see two girls talking they look like each other. I walk up to them. "Excuse me" they look at me "yes" one of them say "do you guys know where U.S History is?" "Oh yeah that's our first class too just follow us" one of them say "ok thank you" "no problem" they both say at the same time.

"Let's start going now or we'll be late" one of them says then we start walking to class. We get there and walk in and there is a lot of people in there. The two girls walk over to someone with their head down and sits next to them and put their head down to. I look for a seat to take. I find one and sit down and wait for the teacher to come in.

A lady walks in and tells everyone to quiet down she goes to her desk and starts taking attendance. "Da'veon Reed" "yo" a boy says "Kennedy Powell" "Here" a girl says

After like 8 more names

"Y/n L/n" "present" I say out loud so she can hear me. "Dinayah Sparrow" "here" one of the girls with their head down says. "Katelyn Sparrow" "alive" the other girl said "and Kinayah Sparrow" "she's here" I think Dinayah said or maybe Katelyn said.

The teacher comes in front of the class and tells everyone to site up and pay attention. "I'm Ms. LB your U.S History teacher for the year I know some or most of you know each other already but just in case you don't let's go around and say names a one thing about your self if you want" she looks at a paper in her hand "let's start with Y/n" why me like all these other kids. "I'm Y/n L/n and I like to be outside" "Next is Dinayah" "I'm Dinayah Sparrow and they are my twins or you can say we are triplets" she says as she points to the girls next to her "I'm Katelyn Sparrow and I play the violin" "I'm Kinayah Sparrow and I don't want to be here"
