Chapter - 1 ❥ THE CEREMONY

Y/N's POV

I was running on the street's pathways to get to the bus stand and catch the bus on time as I woke up late. Due to the work and college assignment, I slept late last night and was now getting late to reach my new work place. My life has changed from the day I met that man and swear, not in better way but horror way. The days were nearly passing by with the horror already present there at the work.

I finally reached the hospital where I recently started working as an intern for my college certificates. And to learn. It had been 2 weeks since I started working. But the horror I met with, was nearly to any thriller when, I was here the first time. As it was like the biggest nightmares of all I have ever had, the day of interview.

Flashback

I was my way back to the home after my college and before the incident with that man. I got a notification on my phone updating, that I received a message on my way as for the informations regarding my internship workplace and I was happy to see the screen highlighting the top best place of this city in my field, where I wanted to go desperately.

The one of the new and top rated place which is held together by the only, top most businessmen and few top best doctors. It was like a dream come true with all the hardships I had to go through all this while, being the only child and my mom being my only parent.

I had suffered from the bully and taunting from the society, way back in my hometown for being the child without a father. But I didn't stop myself there and had got through all that till the date, and made my mom proud and I love her. With what she had and gave me, I cherish her with all of my and will always be grateful and proud of her. Due to being the single parent she had to go through all the whole but, she did her best till the date. She gave me all the love and support to be what I wanted and sent me off to this city, where I currently am.

I was happily heading back to my home but I got crashed into a rude-arrogant- ass rich man, who was showing off with his money and wasn't even accepting his mistake. And rest all known.

The next week was my interview and I was getting prepared for that day and all along working and college at the same time. And soon the day arrived, where I was standing infront of my mirror getting myself groomed for the new stage of my life. I was all nervous but confident, at the same time and then the same moment, my sweet lady called me encouraging me and giving me hopes to do the best. And with a smile on my face now I was really ready, taking the documents with my bag I headed to the destination.

Now I was standing tall at the entrance of the building, with a smile on my face even, the infront was looking a little shorter than my happiness. Later, striding inside with big and confident steps, I walked to the reception for the enquiry of my interview and I was lead to the told place by the receptionist. It was an overwhelming feeling, where I was dazed on the way, mesmerized by the architectures of the place. It was so groomed and was screaming perfect.

I was lead to the way all along by the receptionist - Yuna to be precise. She was and is sweet with her polite behaviour and was all the way encouraging me even being stranger.
I saw the other candidates were also sitting waiting for their turns, as we reached the waiting lounge. I was also made seated with them and was all way looking at the faces, with each showing different emotions but one in common, nervousness. After the few candidates being called, it was now my turn to go inside for my upcoming future. I strode towards the black metal door with on the right hand side written in shiny gold fonts Board Room.
