For a few months now Zephry had taken the WWE Universe by storm. Competing in nearly every main event for Raw or Smackdown. Beating the likes of LA Knight, Jimmy Uso and Finn Bálor. Amongst putting on a 5 star match with Dom Mysterio. Along with dropping the NXT North American belt to Trick Williams, Many thought be the one to dethrone Roman but the pesky Judgment Day kept getting in his way.
His beef with the Judgment Day was going to come to a head at war games, after they attacked and injured Sami Zayn. Zephyr was to take his place in the match. It would all come to a head 2 weeks before Survior Series.
Zephyr:" DC I got things to say, first off let's start off with my the people who keep getting in my way. Yes, I'm talking about the Judgment Day. I've beaten every single member 1on1. So why don't they tuck their tails and go before-"
Zephyr looked towards Samantha who was by the announcers table, who smiled at him as Rhea made her entrance. Zephyr stared her down as she did her signature wave.
Rhea:" Ah Zephyr your wrong like usual. See The Judgment Day isn't done with you. We're not just gonna run away for you" she shot back as Zephyr laughed
Zephyr:" So I've beaten everyone of your members, except well you. And look I don't expect to have a match with the wonderful Rhea Ripley anytime soon. Do cut to the chase why are you here" he pressed with both pacing around the ring.
Rhea:" Well the reason out here with the so call Papi is to end this all. So I'll tell the truth I want you to join Judgment Day" she asked with a hurl of boos coming from the crowd.
Zephyr:" Well Rhea, that's a firm no but if we're telling the truth. Well then since everyone doesn't know the backstory to why I'm Papi. Tell the whole world why" he replied with a smirk.
Rhea:" Well before you're injury, I regretted a lot of things. Sorry to say this but being with Zephyr was one of them." She shot back as the crowd jeered.
Zephyr:" Well not too many cross the most handsome man in the WWE. And get to stand in the ring and still talk" he replied back as the crowd got louder
Rhea:" I say Dirty Dom looks better than you, plus I think he's beaten you a couple of times" she taunted back
Zephyr:" Not to be rude...well I'm gonna be rude Dom sucks I mean that's what you all think right" he asked the crowd as they all started chanting Dom You Suck.
Rhea:" You should watch your back, we're always lurking" she laughed .
Zephyr watched her exit the ring with a small grin on his face, regretfully this was short lived.
