Mary,
The bitter soul.
Mary,
The pathetic soul.
Mary,
The selfish.Mary was a very bitter, pathetic, and selfish person; she knew what kind of person she was. Her mom never stopped mentioning what kind of person she was from a young age until the present. Not just her mother, but her father, her sister, grandmother, grandfather, and even her aunt. Almost every single one of her family members has mentioned how much of a disappointment she was. "You're so lazy," "I feed and clothe you, and you can't get a single thing right?" "You're so absentminded," "You have eyes for a reason," are the phrases she hears daily in her household. Every time she hears one of these phrases, a piece of her dies inside.
For 16 years of disappointment, she could no longer take it. As she sits on the ledge of her 10-story apartment, she ends it all with a simple nudge. As she cascades down the building, she can't help but smile. And there she is on the floor, 10 stories deep from where she jumped, smiling and laying peacefully, knowing this will be the last time she disappoints her family, holding a note that says:
"To my friends and family,
I've loved you all for my entire life, and even in my afterlife. I wish you nothing but happiness, good health, and a long life for I have sacrificed mine to lengthen yours."
Mary the selfish.
