Chapter 6

*Roni's POV*
(A/N Okay! So this chapter takes place on Friday, the day of homecoming, after school. Important A/N at the end of this chapter)
"We only have 5 hours until that dance and we have to get you to the salon! Hurry up and change!" Cherry said bombarding me as I walk in the door. I run upstairs and bust through my door to my closet. I change into a white v-neck, red high waisted shorts and white vans. I walk down the stairs to see Nash with his keys in one hand and his phone in the other "Let's go!" Cherry said pulling me out the door and I grabbed Nash on the way out. We finally arrive at the salon and we walk to the front desk "Caniff?" Cherry said smiling "Right this way!" The lady said taking me to the back. First they did my hair. After they washed and dried it, they curled my hair in big loose curls. Next the did my nails. They did all of them red with my ring finger a sparkly silver. Finally they did my makeup, they used concealer, powder, light blush, a smokey eye, mascara, eyeliner and red lipstick. "Thank you!" Cherry said dragging me out. We hopped back in the car and raced home. "Now we only have 1 hour to finish getting ready so move it!" Cherry said pushing me in my room. I put on my dress and heels then walked to my bathroom. I put on my purity ring and long silver earrings. "Are you done?" Cherry yelled from downstairs "Yeah!" I screamed back walking out of the bathroom. I walk downstairs to see everyone with their mouth open. "What? Do I look okay?" I said checking my dress "You look beautiful" the Jacks said at the same time making me blush "Now let's get you to that dance!". They grab JJ's keys and er head to the car. We finally arrive at the school and I walk to the gym.
*Shawn's POV*
"Okay, she's gone! Now get dressed!"I heard Cherry scream. I put on the suit and walk to the bathroom. I style my hair, put my shoes on and wall downstairs "Well someone cleans up nice!" She said tying my tie "Thanks, now what's the school address?" I asked "108 South Collage Street". I grab my keys and start to drive. I arrive at the school and make my way to their gym. They're playing 'Thinking out Loud' by Ed Sheeran. I look around and see Roni sitting down playing with her ring. I walk over and hold out my hand "Care to dance?" I asked smiling "Shawn? What are you doing here?" She asked excitedly "Well I heard there was a beautiful young lady who was going to the dance without a date and I just had to come help. Now would you like to dance?" I asked " I would love to!" She said taking my hand. I lead her to the dance floor. I put my hands around her waist while she put her arms around my neck. "Shawn, you're the best!" She said smiling "Anything for you" I said and kissed her cheek which made her blush. And with that we danced the night away. I even got to meet Drew and him and Roni are so much alike it's scary. "I had so much fun tonight,Shawn. Thank you"She said as we walked to the door hand in hand "Me too and no problem" I said laughing. We just stare into each other's eyes for a few minutes until I feel myself leaning in. But so is she. Next thing you know are lips are smashed together. Sparks went everywhere. Her lips were so soft and gentle. We pull away and she's smiling "Woah..."She said "Yeah". Well this just got awkward. "I guess we should go inside?" She said nervously laughing. I nod and open the door. Today has been amazing!
