"Hey Lani wait up!" Ugh Dylan . When is this guy gonna get a clue?

Hey Dylan , what's up ?" I say rather annoyed . Not that Dylan even has the slightest clue that I am.

"I was wondering if you would help me with something ?" Scratching his head . " um yeah so you remember how I told you that theirs this ball this weekend ?"

"Yeah why and god don't say what I think....." "Will you go with me?" Ughhh he said it . He's just trying to make me mad. He wouldn't have that sly grim on his face if he was being serious . And as a matter of factly he's just plain annoying. " uh earth to Lani . You still in there?" He asks waving his hand. In front of my face snapping me back to reality. " my answer is ......... No." He looks like a cat just humped a pole with a bikini and makeup on. God I only sad no! He just stands there looking down at me . So I do the normal teenage thing and walk away leaving him there astonished that I said no.

*Flashback Ends*

That was the last time I ever saw him. He was killed in a car accident five minutes later. So was my brother Eli. Today's Eli's birthday and my mom is walking around sobbing her eyes out. Me I just let my options simmer and bubble until I can't take it and go to my room and climb out onto the fire escape only to bawl my eyes out.

Dylan's parents came over today and they told us they found out that the man who ran into the boys died early this morning. They've been over ever since. Dispite how bad I feel I still have to go to work. Yep heartbroken seventeen year old girl working for 300,000 a month. Pays good but I'm tired as hell when i get home.

"Hey it's Ali what you doing tonight?" 

"Working ! Apparently a 45 year old woman who's lived in Hollywood her whole life, had gone to ever store within a million mile radius and is a fashion designer needs my help picking out a dress for fashion week in Milan!" 

"Omg like Milan Milan or..." 

"Ali, really ?" 

" is she taking you with her?! Cause if she is I'm so jealous!" 

"Yeah I'm going. Three weeks on fashion , parting, and lets not forget the hot European guys."

" hello emiliana ,are you almost here ?" 

"Yes actually I'm pulling up as we speak "

* IN THE CAR *

" god I'm starving " I say rubbing my belly unattractively. "Yes I can see well we're back in town now so where's the nearest Mickey d's ." That's one thing I love about my boss she can eat till her hearts content. Which in my cases and I won't get scolded for bringing carbs 3 feet from her. If she even shed a French fry she'll yank it from your hand and stuff it down her throat.

"What do you want Danni ?" Oh yeah my bosses name is Danniele . "Umm just get me a Big Mac a large fry and a large coke." God she eats more than my dad and may I just say its s miracle that his metabolism is still in high gear cause if it wasn't he would be obese. I walk up to the counter when this guy with a black hoodie on nearly knocks me out running into the restaurant . After he runs in I see hundreds of girls storming outside McDonald 's. "may I take your order?" 

" oh yes I'd like yo have one Big Mac latge fry and and a barge coke .bid also like to have a number 3 . No lettuce to mayor or pickle and I'd Like I medium sprite for the drink ." 

" is that all?" I nod my head" that'll be $12.45 mam." Right them the guy who was running away from those girl said " Its on me . " before I could object he slid his card got the receipt and walked away. Weird ....
