Your fondness for the night sky and twinkling stars never failed to bring you out to observe it for hours. This eventually became a routine, each time after finishing tasks and chores you would climb up the stairs of your apartment's building no matter how many floors there are to get to the rooftop. You had to resort to stairs rather than the elevator, since it needs repair at the time being. Nevertheless, the best quality time you could ever ask for after an exhausting day. You were at the same time and place, minding your own business when something strange caught your attention. Recently, every night, you started to notice figures hopping from one building to another. You could hear incoherent chattering or squabbling from time to time when they are in close range. But you never saw them in person or knew who they were. Not until one particular day where they decided to take a different route.

You were at the rooftops as always, spending your time for rejuvenation, relaxation, quality time, and might I say more? You didn't notice it at first, but you gradually heard voices getting closer from behind you. The same voices as those mysterious figures. Eventually they came across your apartment building, arguing.

"For the last time Leon, you better keep your grubby hands off my tech or I'll end up breaking them." A familiar voice threatened, which you percieved to be 'Donnie'.

It hasn't been long when you started eavesdropping, although you knew you shouldn't. But it couldn't be helped since they started coming around more often. You weren't gonna let some hoodlooms take away your quality time just like that, not even for the sake of privacy. How unethical - a sudden thought came to mind. You gradually felt like you were in the wrong, and slowly started to head back for the stairs.

Just when you were about to take another step closer towards the door the mysterious lot just so happen to take a stop at your building, but you remained unnoticed because of the roof bulkhead separating you from the strangers on the other side.

" Guys, we're almost there to the new pizza place- GAAH! " Once the high-pitched voice leaped to your side of the building, which you got to know through all the guilty eavesdropping as 'Mikey', were met with a surprise causing him to lose his footing. "Ow..." He quietly groaned.

In return, you were met with a half human, half turtle mutant, wearing a brilliant shade of orange bandana, on the floor rubbing his sore head. The others came soon after being alarmed by Mikey's.

"Mikey! What happened-" A deep voice spoke, who you assumed to be 'Raph', rushing to check on Mikey.

As you turned to meet the voice, you were introduced with three more mutants. Turtles in blue, red, and purple bandana.

"Oh, great, a human." Donnie spoke in an unamused tone with half-lidded eyes.

"They've been here all along?!" A turtle in blue, named 'Leo', stretched  both hands to your direction with a surprised expression.

The rest of the turtles, except Donnie freaked out, yelling to each other on what to do. You watched as the three turtles ran around in chaos.

"And, as if on cue. This is the part where they start to scream. In 1...2...3..." Donnie watched as you observed the situation at hand with a blank expression, which he found baffling. "Ehem, I said on 3. 1...2...3..." After not getting an anticipated response, Donnie quickly catched on and continued. "Guys, they're cool." He looked back to the others in the background.

As if nothing happened, the rest of them quickly gathered around you, studying your expression, which is blank by the way.

"Ohoho! We haven't come across people like this, like in...FOREVER! How long has it been since we met April?!" Leo, with every brain cell he has left, tried to recall the past while counting the years using his fingers.
