Like every day I woke up with a cup of black coffee on my nightstand.
My P.A. might have left it there.
After freshening up I went downstairs for breakfast.
"When are you planning to get married?" my grandfather questioned me while sitting beside me on the dining table.
I being least interested in girls wanted to avoid getting married anytime soon.
"I will dadu when I find someone worthy the throne" I answered uninterested.
He nods his head and we continue our breakfast in silence. Mahesh approaches me and greets everyone on the table.
"We have to attend the grand pooja on this Saturday so make sure you clear your schedule for the day" my father spoke to which I replied while nodding.
"I am done, I'll be late today." I got up and walked out to my car that was parked for me.
Mahesh sat beside me in the car and listed my schedule for the day. It's going to be a long day indeed.
"What are you going to do about your marriage sir?" He asked me out of concern.
Marriage?
Woman?
Only one was in my mind since I had laid my eyes on her.
It was just for a few seconds that I saw her but my heart walked away with her.
Who is she?
Where is she?
I have no information on her.
She came like a summer breeze that sweeps away all the tension and left like a tsunami tide causing destruction in my heart.
I hope to see her again.
Someday, maybe?
My day will drown in meetings and work today.
As I entered the building everyone stood up to greet me.
I just pass by them while nodding.
This isn't just an office; it's my command center.
Sun paints the city gold through those windows in my cabin, reminding me of the empire we've built.
Mahogany whispers success, worn smooth by countless strategic decisions.
The leather chair molds to me like a second skin, cradling me as I navigate million-dollar deals. Marble floors echo with the purposeful stride of power, yet plush sofas invite moments of reflection.
Yes, it's opulent, but the awards gathering dust speak of battles won, not just wealth.
And hidden away, a haven of books and soft light, where I can strategize in solitude or simply be a man, not just a CEO.
This space reflects me, the ambition tempered by the heart that built it all.
Now, back to work, the city waits.
I have to sign a deal with Mr. Kapoor today.
He is one of the prominent celebrities in India and if he and his team wear my team's designs to the next event that they have it may boost my company's profit.
My company RR & Co. we design and produce clothes, both in bulk as well as single piece based on the customer.
I inherited the company during my MBA last year and since then the company has acquired many new clients, mostly international clients.
My grandfather, Ranvijay Rathode and my father, Arjun Rathode had kept this company and it's clients confined to India, which limited it's profit.
"Sir, it's time for the meeting. Mr. Kapoor is waiting for you in the Meeting room." My P.A. Mahesh Raj spoke as he entered the cabin.
I nod my head and get up and head towards the meeting room.
Meeting was a success.
Of course it has to be after all I am Ranveer Rathode.
I was sitting in my cabin when I heard a knock, "come in" my company's one of the HR came in.
She has been working for me from past 2 years but she just got promoted a few months ago.
"Good evening sir. This is the report of the meeting that u asked me to prepare" she walked near my seat while I looked at her with an eyebrow raised.
She acted like she tripped and the papers were on the ground.
She purposefully did it.
It was too obvious.
"What do you think you are doing Ms.Roy?" I questioned.
"Do you not know I don't like anyone entering my personal space? GET OUT" I added.
"i.. I'm sorry sir" she started pleading looking at me.
"I said GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY OFFICE. NOW!" she was to stunned to speak and ran out of office.
Why are women so easily captivated by my beauty?
I know I'm too handsome for any women to resist but that doesn't mean they leave their self-respect and throw themselves on me.
It's just too disgusting.
This bitch had ruined my mood by now.
I decided to head back home and get some rest since it was already 6 in the evening.
