The exhaustion from the long day must have been a lot, I slept like a kittne who's belly was full. It was a deep slumber as if it pulled me in and I felt something... A gentle pat of on my head. I could clearly feel someone caressing my hairs. It feels so warm, so comforting, so loving . I was not annoyed that someone was touching my hair....it feels so familiar ?A timid humming song tingled my ears.I can't understand what this is but it feels like I know this from as long as I can remember .
I tried to wake up slowly opening my eyes . And to my surprise I was completely alone in my bed. Nobody was there in my chamber. Maybe it was a dream? A quite realistic one...Or maybe it was not? The way it felt , can't shake off the feeling that it was real! It might be due to the exhaustion .
I could see the curtains dancing with the wind from my bed. Indeed a windy night. The dream woke me what a shame! It's a perfect night to sleep tight. A bit drowsy, yet I made my way to the large window of the chamber and plopped down on the silk chair. I always thought this chair was too big for me but it was just too comfortable for me to replace it. The midnight breeze cold and pleasant, tickling my skin. It sure is a bit cold today.
The moon was at it's full glory. Somehow it reminded me of Vasudev, he could charm any being like the moon charmed the Chakor.
A wave of goosebumps rushed over me due to the chilly wind yet I still wanted to sit here and just watch the skies. Tightly tucking in the hem of dress, making sure no cold air reached my body ,I curled up into a ball to instantly felt warmer.
All gathered up into my wandering thoughts I thought over all the events of the day. Maybe I was just over thinking about the fire. Accidents happen. I should look into it tomorrow . So no such accidents happen. We were lucky today but there should be some quick precautions to deal with such situations again. In the crowd of this thoughts sleep soon creeped up on me and claimed me back into slumber.
As my heavy eye leds closed I really wished for the ignites goblets to blaze more so to feel warmer. And maybe I was really drowsy or just for a moment I saw them brun brighter to make it just right for sleeping. That's the last thing I vaguely remember or was mistaken about that night.
