"But, Fred! We can't just let this happen!"

John had been ranting and complaining for the past twenty minutes, ever since Freddie returned from the party. He was pacing back and forth in front of the two beds, while the older man was sitting on his own bed, leaning against the headboard. He was still quite drunk, and could feel a headache coming on as each minute passed.

Freddie nodded every once in awhile, just to at least pretend like he was listening, giving John the occasional "mhm".

"Brian's never like this, he hardly ever looks at other girls. How could he do a thing like this to Chrissie?" John shook his head and stopped in the middle of the floor to pinch the bridge of his nose between his fingers.

Freddie chuckled, closing his eyes with a sigh. "Well, you didn't hear this from me, but Roger is prettier than about ninety percent of the female population.." He coughed, lowering his voice. "..Chrissie included."

John looked up with wide eyes. "But how?! His whole life could be ruined now!"

"Deaky, he's merely letting off steam, it's completely natural-"

"Natural to cheat on your wife with your bandmate?" John raised his eyebrows, an accusing look on his face as he stared Freddie down.

"Darling, don't worry. Chances are, this will go nowhere. They're just doing each other a favor, they're not going to run away to Tahiti or something." Freddie stood up and went up to the bassist, his tired eyes kind and soft. "Don't overreact about this, Johnny. Brian and Roger are two adults, and they know what they're doing."

Freddie didn't quite believe it himself, after all, as far as he knew, neither had ever been with a man before. Well, for all I know, Brian could've spent the past decade thinking Roger was a girl! Freddie thought to himself. But that's besides the point. The singer was certain this was a one-time thing, and wouldn't have any meaning once the tour was over.

"You're right.., I am overreacting.." John shook his head and sighed, sitting down at the edge of his bed. "Everything'll be all right, I just worry too much."

Freddie smiled, giving John's shoulder a gentle squeeze. "You see? Don't fret over this, Deaks, Brian loves his wife and he wouldn't do anything stupid."

Freddie didn't mention Roger's relationship with Dominique because frankly, he didn't see too much love there. Roger still played around with women, despite having a son and living with his girlfriend. He had many little romps in the sack with girls during tours, and even when he was home, Freddie would often see him off with another woman. In the frontman's honest opinion, Roger never really found true love.

When Roger awoke the next morning, he smelled two of his favorite smells. Brian's cologne and bacon. His eyes fluttered open, and he tilted his head upwards to see Brian sitting up with a tray of food on his lap. He was watching the morning news, dressed in pajama pants and a white t-shirt while sipping some tea.
One of the two plates was empty, with just a fork and spoon resting on it, while the other had eggs, bacon, and a fruit cup.

Brian glanced down, his face lighting up when he saw Roger was awake. "G'morning, Rog."

Roger yawned and stretched out under the sheets, running a hand through his tousled hair. "Good morning.. How'd you sleep?"

"Like a baby. I brought you some breakfast." Brian set the tray onto Roger's lap as the drummer sat up. His eyes widened at the plate in front of him.

Roger began to scarf down the still-warm food, not even noticing when bits of scrambled eggs fell onto his bare chest. Brian muted the television and leaned his head back and to the side, watching Roger eat with a smile on his face.
