The morning sun cast a glow over the cricket field as the team gathered for their practice session.
The sound of bat meeting ball and the rhythmic thud of cricket balls hitting the nets was heard echoing.
Players worked about, stretching, jogging, and getting into their gear, their faces set with determination.
Amidst the flurry of activity, Nandhini found a quiet spot near the sidelines, her sketchbook open on her lap and her camera slung around her neck.
She was busy sketching something and also taking snapshots of her second family who were busy on the field.
Nandhini saw Shreyas and Ishan lying on the grass instead of practicing making her shake her head.
"AREY YAAR YE THUMARI PRACTICE SESSION HAI GHAR NAHI! JAAKAR PRACTICE KARO!"
She yelled making everyone laugh including her brother and Ishan who rolled their eyes before gearing up.
As she worked, Nandhini couldn't help but steal glances at Shubman, who sat perched on the drinks box nearby, a picture of relaxed confidence. He wore his practice hat and leg pads, a playful smirk playing on his lips as he observed the team's warm-up drills while he held a bottle in his hand.
Noticing Shubman's casual demeanor, Nandhini couldn't resist the urge to capture the moment. With a mischievous grin, she raised her camera and snapped a candid photo, the click of the shutter echoing amidst the bustling activity of the practice session.

Later on after practice when Nandhini was on a call Shubman reached for his own phone navigating to his Instagram feed. There, he found Nandhini's latest post—a candid shot of him lounging on the drinks box, accompanied by the caption, "Someone get this man a Snickers as well"
A laugh escaped Shubman's lips as he shook his head in amusement. He knew Nandhini's playful teasing all too well, and he couldn't help but admire her ability to find humor in even the most serious of moments.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team had taken notice of Nandhini's post, their curiosity piqued by the playful caption. Ishan, spotting Shubman's amused expression, couldn't resist chiming in.
"Looks like someone caught your attention, Shubman," KL Rahul teased, nudging him playfully.
Shubman chuckled, shaking his head. "Just Nandhini being Nandhini," he replied with a grin.
The banter continued as the practice session progressed, with teammates exchanging playful jabs and words of encouragement.
