1.

"Peter, I like you"

Finally I could feel comfortable, after practicing to myself in front of the mirror for many times.

When I was gonna step into the classroom, I was still thinking about which moment to confess, right after that lesson or when the school day was over.

However, my classmate Clara caught my arms immediately when seeing me:

"Linda, I heard that Peter and Julie were seen to have lunch together today. Are they a real couple now?"

I couldn't help a surprised expression on my face: "What?"

Clara complained: "Julie just has a nice face, not mentioning her mean personality. What is in Peter's mind now, he really likes her?"

I felt a down in my mood after two days preparing for the confession.

But I have a bad habit, it is that I won't stop until things don't allow me to go any further.

I tried to give out a smile, answering Clara: "Maybe they're just friend"

She nodded to my words: "You're Peter's deskmate, and have a good relationship with him, so I just wonder a bit for you"

I didn't reply her, and just came back to my seat silently.

Peter hadn't come back to the classroom yet.

I opened the book and tried to concentrate, but what was in my mind at that moment was only Clara's words.

It seemed that he was texting someone.

When he heard my voice, he turned off the smartphone, looking upon me and raising his eyebrows a bit.

He meant "Ask?"

"I..."

"Peter!" - A classmate ran to us, interrupting me.

I turned to look at my book again.

That classmate gave out a mischievous smile, asking: "I just heard some big rumors about our big brother Peter in the school"

Peter just gave him a slight attention: "Spit it out"

That classmate didn't get angry, instead asked directly:

"You and Julie... Are really a couple now?"

My heart immediately felt like being squeezed hard, I waited for his answer as if waiting for a judgement.

The wind blew outside the window, but it was nothing compared to the coldness in that teenager's voice.

"And? Impossible?" - Peter smiled gently, answering.

He indirectly admitted.

3.

I knew Peter had a "white moonlight", but that girl only concentrated on studying, she had no interest in love and even moved to a another school then.

I had a chance to observe the bored Peter during that time.

Once while we were having a self-studying lesson in the evening, he tilted his head a bit while asking me:
