𝐵𝒰𝒮𝐼𝒩𝐸𝒮𝒮 𝒫𝑅𝒪𝒫𝒪𝒮𝒜𝐿

chapter 1

i was in my office, going through emails over other big company's wanting to arrange appointments with my boss, the CEO of the biggest company. i was replying to them when i got called into his office.

i sigh and start walking towards his office, which was across the room from where my room is.

i knock on the door and he yells for me to come in. he tells me to sit down and i obey.

"hello, ms. rose. i called you in because i wanted to talk to you."

"what is it boss?" i say as i play with my skirt.
"im getting old and i cannot take care of this company anymore... someone else has to do it now instead of me.."

oh my gosh, is he gonna ask ME to become the new CEO? my heart was pounding and i was about to scream "YES!"

"..so my grandson will be taking the position as CEO. you will be his new assistant." he smiles at me.

oh.
his grandson.
i should've known.

"ohh, okay.. so you're retiring?"
"exactly."
i slowly nod my head. "when will he start?" "he'll start tomorrow, i suppose." i nod again. is there anything else you need?" i ask. "i'm okay. thank you."

i'm in my apartment, scrolling through my phone, when i see this scrumptious looking ice cream. it's a new restaurant that opened and i had to try it. i immediately called my friend.

me: oh my gosh girl!! there's this new restaurant that opened and their ice creams look so good! we have to go and try them!

even though it was 6pm and already dark outside, i still wanted to go. couples went on their dates at this time, right?

angelina: oh my gosh really? i've been craving ice cream for a while now, i guess i could come with you.

me: AAHH ang you're the best! i'll text you the address and we'll meet there, alright?

angelina: okay! see ya.

we hung up and i started getting ready. even though we were just getting ready, i still wanted to look good.
who knows? i might find the love of my life.

i put on a long black dress with a cut in it and it was also long sleeved. i put on heels and also took a bag. i didn't have to do my makeup since i already had some on, but i touched up my lips.
and i was ready to go.

i exited my apartment and started walking to the place. it was about 15 minutes away so i walked there.

i had to pass an alley though. and that alley was known for.. a lot.

with a heavy heart, i passed it. i thought i was safe, when suddenly i hear a voice behind me.

"hey pretty girl, where you going?" a homeless hairy man says.

"what's in that bag, doll?" another guy said.

sorry, i don't have any razors for them awful looking beards.

i ignored them and started walking away quickly, when someone grabbed me by my arm. i gasped.

"i said, what do you have in that bag?" he whispered in my ear and i could sense the alcohol in his breath. i pushed him off of me and started running away. i turned the corner but bumped into something rock hard. i looked up and damn..

the most majestic looking huh stood right in front of me. he stared into my soul with his eyes. they were gorgeous. one was a very dark brown, while the other one was a blue.
i got snapped out of my wild imagination by a voice behind me.

the homeless men. i immediately got up and grabbed the guy by his arm

"please help me.. those guys are crazy!"
one of them was about to grab me again, but the guy pushed me out of the way and punched the homeless dude to the ground, cold.

i watched with wide eyes as he wiped his hand with a napkin. he then stared at the other homeless guy.

"hey man.. i-i was just.." he wasn't able to finish the sentence because the guys' fist made contact with his face.

now both of the homeless guys were on the floor. the guy with the strange eyes looked at me. "are you okay?" he said and got closer to me. i nod slowly. "i-i'm sorry for causing you trouble." i say quietly. "nah, it's fine." he says and i stare at his gorgeous eyes.

"are you done staring?" he says with a smirk. i blush and nod. "i-i'm sorry.. i should get going." i then run as fast as i could. i bet i was faster than sonic himself.

i got to the restaurant and i see angelina. i collapse onto my chair.

"what happened to you.." she asks, holding in a laugh. i glare at her which made her shut up.
