"Am I clear?" growled Eklavya and looked at one of the employees who had dug his own grave by messing the presentation a night before the conference. "Get. Out. NOW" shouted eklavya on the poor soul who was now shivering due to the intense anger of his boss. He ran out of his cabin saving his life.

Eklavya took the puffs of cigarettes to calm his tensed temples down. This project is the most important project for him as this will help to spread his business. The Rathore's are known for production of best automobiles, satellite parts and etc. this is a colab between The Rathore's and The Rawat's. Rawat's have a btech college in Varanasi, so to provide placement to the final year students in his company will give him a great profit and he doesn't want to lose this deal.

Pushing his dark curly locks back he looked at the city through the glass wall of his cabin. Soon the time passed everyone had left, only the CEO aka EKLAVYA SINGH RATHORE was working. His eyes were glued at the screen until his phone rang being busy on the call he didn't notice that the clock had already struck 11 o' clock. He sighed and picked his car keys and laptop and went to the parking area.

He entered the mansion and only met his mother who was waiting for him as he was late. "Maa humne aapko kitni baar kaha hai ki hmara wait mt kiya kriye, aapko dawaiyan leni hoti hai or sare schedule kharab kr rkhe hain aapne".  (mom i have told you several times not to wait for me,you need to take your medicine on the time, you have spoiled all your schedule as well).  he said while removing his shoes while removing his shoes and coat. "Toh hmare suputra ji humne bhi aapko kitni baar kaha hai ki time se ajaya kriye khana bhi kha na hota hai aapko or sare schedule kharab kr rkhe hain aapne bhi"   (my lovely son i have also said to you to return home by exact time you also need to have meal, you too have spoiled your schedule)    Abhira mocked while passing a glass of water to him. In response Eklavya chuckled at his mother.

"Lavya" Abhira called her son while serving pullao and curd to eklavya and herself. Eklavya hummed indicating her to speak further. "Humein aapse kuch baat krni hai thodi zaruri baat hai"  ( i want to have a some serious words with you) Abhira said playing with her food "Kahiye na maa" (spill the tea mom)  he said noticing the hesitation in abhira's tone. "Aapke zindagi mein koi ladki hai?"  (Do you have any girl in your life)  She asked being excited. Eklavya blankly stared at his food before answering "Nahi"  (no)
he said showing disinterest regarding the topic. "Toh lekar aiye"  (so get any) abhira said in a stern tone. "Humne aapko phele bhi btaya hai or aaj bhi bta dete hain humein ladkio m koi dilchaspi nahi hai"   (mom i have already informed you and today am again informing i have no interest in girls)   he said coldly. "Toh kya aap ladke se pyaar karte hain? Ladke se shaadi krenge?"   (So do you love any boy?you want to get married to a boy?)   She said teasingly making eklavya choke his food. Abhira passed him water and rubbed his back. When eklavya calmed down then abhira returned to her respective place. "Maa aisa kuch nahi hai or rahi baat ladkio ki hmein vishvas nahi hai ladkio pr"   (there is nothing like this and I don't trust the girl's mom)   he said again in a very cold tone.

"Lavya hmara vishvas maniye har ladki aisi nahi hoti"   (lavya trust not every girl is like that)   abhira said in a convincing manner but got disappointed when he said "Hmare liye sab ek jaisi hi hain"   (for me they all are same) while taking the plates he casually went to sink and washed his hands. "Par ek bar koshish kr skte hain na"   (you may try once)   abhira said following her child "bas maa ab or dimag mt chalaiye"  (alright now don't use your brain more)     he said handling the glass of water and BP tablets to Abhira. "Beta hum aapko khush dekhna chahte hain"     (son i want you to stay happy)  she said caressing his cheeks. "Hum khush hain ab chaliye soo jaiye bohot der ho rhi hai"     (I'm happy now you should sleep its already late)      he said while slightly pushing abhira in her bedroom and closed the dood by saving 'shubh ratri'

Eklavya climbed the stairs and lazily pushed open the door of his room. Without glancing for a second he directly went to the mini bar set up in the corner of his room. The top two buttons were now unbuttoned and sleeves were folded up to his elbow. Gulping the whole glass of whiskey down his throat he threw the glass on the floor and went to his closet. Je changed himself in a pair of grey shorts and black tshirt. He took the box of cigarettes from his cabinet and went to the balcony attached to his room.

Lightening the lighter he brought the cigarette near its flame and then put it between his lucious lips. "Why did you do this Niharika" he said while puffing the cigarette and releasing the smoke. "You loved me right? Then why did you choose that bastard over me?" He said closing his eyes and letting the cold air hit his face.

"You said i was poor, you said i wasn't looking good, you said i didn't know English, y..you said i was a dumb" he said while tears forming in his eyes. "Look now i have everything, even the betrayal and hatred" he said putting the cigarette in the ash tray. He wipped his tears harshly and went to his room and drifted into a deep slumber.
