BEING CHOSEN as one of maserati's drivers on the team's come back in formula one was something marie schumacher didn't expect. after having won the formula three-thousand championship and receiving no offer from any team on the current grid, the twenty-one-year-old opted to try endurance or rally.
but with this opportunity, she is ready to show the world that women can win races as she is forced to live up to the name of those who had come before her. all of that while surviving the ayrton senna, who feels threatened by her skills and never seems to have a clean drive any time she was around on track, and the constant male gaze that did nothing but objectify her. thankfully, the arrival of an old friend, mika hakkinen, in 1991 is going to make everything easier.
