Pitch almost perfect

"Oh my god Alex you have to come back to ours and meet chloe she'll love you"

"How do you know she would love me you don't know me" I chuckled slightly and the girl's smile widened

"Because chloe loves everyone and I might not know you but I love you already. Come on"

She grabbed my wrist and we followed after the large group of girls. What is going on, I planned to get to my room and sleep for the next two days why am I now being heald hostage by my sister and her hot friends.

After a little while we arrived at a medium sized house it was quite nice and sweet you almost wouldn't be able to tell a bunch of collage student lived there.

The same couldn't be said about the house next door there were beer cups and cans scattered along the front garden along with some more rubbish. There was also a strange aroma that I couldn't quite figure out the smell of.

We all went into the bellas house and I sat in the couch next to Emily, beca sat opposite me along with fat Amy and a couple of other girls. I heard a door close upstairs and rapped footsteps coming towards us.

"Oh..my..god" a pretty red head cane darting down the stairs and up to me. "You must be the other Mitchell  your sisters told me so much about you" she pulled me into a bone crushing hug.

We were all sat together making small talk for a few hours, I tried to stay quite I'm not the best in social situations like this. I kind of just want to go to bed but they've trapped me.

"Sooo the big question... can you sing the red head was smiling up at me. I felt everyone's eyes fall upon me.

"I um... I'm sorry but no I can't sing bec got all the talent genes" no one made it obvious but I could tell they were all disappointed, I made eye contact with beca who was giving me a questioning look but u just looked away.

"Oh okay thats fine we're all talented in our own ways. Anyway what are we having for dinner everyone?" Chloe and the rest of the girls continued chatting for a while until I noticed it had gotten dark outside.

I turned to Emily "hey I think I'm going to head back now and get some sleep I'm tired" she put her hand on my hand "are you sure we've just ordered dinner you can stay and eat with us"

I smiled "no it's fine I really need to get some sleep" she nodded in acknowledgment. I said goodbye to everyone and Emily walked me out to the door.

"Goodbye Alex it was really nice to meet you" she stepped close to me and my heart started beating fast she leant down slightly and wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me close.

"It was nice meeting you too, I mean all of you it was nice meeting all of you"

She pulled away "you know you're welcome back here anytime"

"yeah thanks Emily" I started walking away when I heard someone shouting my name. I turned to see beca running after me.

"Alex let me walk you to your dorm" she caught up to me "fine"

We walked in silence for a little while I could tell she was lost in thought but I wasn't going to question it, I'm just enjoying the silence.

"Alex why did u say you can't sing? You can sing very well, better than me possibly"

I sighed "I don't know. I mean singing is your thing, I want my own thing. I spent my whole life in your shadow and if I'm being forced to pack up my life and move accross the country I want to be my own person instead of beca Mitchell's little sister"

Beca looked at me and stopped walking, I turned to her and her face looked sad "Alex I'm so sorry, I had no idea you felt like that. You are your own person you're unique and amazing and I'm really sorry"

I didn't know what to do I'm really not a hugger and I've already hugged far too many people today for my liking. I put my hand on her shoulder "it's not your fault bec it's just the way it goes but it's going to be different this time" She nodded and we continued walking.

We got to my dorm and said our goodbyes, I noticed the sock gone thank god. I opened the door and sat on a bed reading a book was a blonde woman.

"Hey you must be the my new roommate, my names taylor" the girl stood up and went to give me a hug but I avoided it "oh sorry. You not a fan of hugs?"

"Yeah not reall sorry" taylor stuck out her hand "a handshake then" I took her hand and shook it "I did come by earlier but I saw the sock and took the hint" she went a bit red "yeah sorry my girlfriend was round"

"Girlfriend?!" As the word came out my mouth I realised how bad it sounded "do you have a problem with that" taylors face expression changed from friendly to slightly angry.

"No no it's not that. It's just I haven't ever met an openly gay person before and It shocked me. My family don't talk about things like that and there wernt any gay people at my old school or there was but they weren't out"

"It's fine I'm used to getting that reaction, I grew up in the South and I've been out since I was 12. I'm just lucky that my parents were so excepting"

"I'm not homophobic I swear, I think it's amazing that you're so open about this it's actually really inspiring"

She smiled at me and patted me on my shoulder. I went and sat on my bed too exhausted to even change my clothes and I fell asleep instantly.
