I propped up my phone on my dresser.

It's the day before I go for coffee with Jimin.

I'm on facetime Haisley, stressing over what to wear.

"Don't worry Y/N, that outfit looks perfect"

I know it's dramatic but I feel like I'm going to cry

"Are you sure?" I ask with a wince

"Yes, I'm 100% sure."

I mean, this is not a date so should I care how I look?

Stupid question of course I should.

But I can't obsess too much over how I look

That's over the top

I can't think straight, I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight

"Girl, calm down, it will be fine"

Yeah, she's right.

No matter what happens tomorrow, I will be fine....

There's no point in lying to myself

If I screw up tomorrow

I will not be fine

I have on my white flowing spring dress and tied my hair in ribbons

Jimin was at my door exactly at 5

The first 2 minutes of the drive was awkward until we started conversation

Me and him actually have a lot in common.

Same lucky number, same favorite color.

The only thing is that he doesn't like mangoes.

Who doesn't like mangoes?

"You don't like mangoes?!?" I ask facing him in shock

He chuckles his eyes on the road "Not really, the taste has never been appealing"

We both giggle

We eventually get to the cafe and it's definitely one of the nicer ones in town

"What do you usually get here?" he asks looking at the menu

"I like the matcha latte" I say

"No way me too." he says with wide eyes looking at me

"Then we'll get two matcha lattes"

It was such a nice day. We spent at least 3 hours in the cafe talking about various things.

Classes, jobs, each other.

It was really nice.

When the sun started setting he drove me home.

"Thank you so much for taking me here." I say before I get out of the car.

"Thank you for coming" he says with a smile

"Talk tomorrow?" I ask

"Mhm, see you in homeroom."

I smile at him as I walk out of the car and to my door.

I definitely didn't blow it and it was fine.
