truth or dare

Lockwood & Co. had decided to have a wild night in their headquarters, and what better way to do that than with a game of truth or dare? ( even though lucy was totally against doing the game)

Lockwood went first and he chose George who grinned nervously.

"Truth or dare, George?" Lockwood asked, a mischievous glint in his eye.

George hesitated for a moment, then declared boldly, "Dare!"

Lockwood rubbed his hands together with glee before whispering his dare into George's ear. George's eyes widened in disbelief, but he accepted the challenge with a determined nod.

Lockwood revealed the dare to the rest of the group with a dramatic flourish. "I dare you to wear a tutu and dance a jig in the middle of the street!"

The room erupted into laughter as George's face turned scarlet with embarrassment. But true to his word, George bravely donned the tutu and pranced out into the street, much to the amusement of passersby.

Not to be outdone, Holly eagerly volunteered for the next dare. Lockwood's eyes gleamed with mischief as he whispered his challenge to her.

With a mischievous grin, Lockwood announced to the group, "I dare you to sneak into the neighbor's garden and do the chicken dance until they notice!"

Holly's eyes widened in disbelief, but she accepted the challenge with a determined nod. Sneaking into the neighbor's garden, she began flapping her arms and clucking like a chicken with all the enthusiasm of a professional dancer.

Meanwhile, inside the headquarters, Lucy and Lockwood collapsed into fits of laughter, tears streaming down their faces as they watched Holly's antics through the window. Once holly came back it was George's turn. A sly grin spread across George's face as he thought of what to do.

"Truth or dare, Lockwood?" George asked, his eyes dancing with mischief.

Lockwood, always up for a challenge, didn't hesitate. "Dare," he replied, a confident smirk playing on his lips.

George's grin widened. "Alright, Lockwood, I dare you to confess your feelings to Lucy."

Lockwood's heart skipped a beat at the daring challenge. He glanced at Lucy, who looked back at him with a curious expression, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Lockwood felt a rush of nerves, but he knew he couldn't back down now.

Taking a deep breath, Lockwood made his way over to Lucy, his heart pounding in his chest. He cleared his throat, trying to gather his thoughts as he stood in front of her.

"Lucy," he began, his voice betraying a hint of nervousness, "there's something I need to tell you."

Lucy's eyes widened in surprise, her curiosity piqued as she waited for Lockwood to continue.

Lockwood took another deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say. "I... I've been keeping this to myself for a while now, but I can't hold it in any longer. The truth is, Luce, I... I care about you. More than just as a colleague or a friend. I care about you in a way that's... deeper. I... I love you, Lucy."

The room fell silent as Lockwood's confession hung in the air, the weight of his words filling the space between them.

Lucy's breath caught in her throat, her heart racing with a whirlwind of emotions. She searched Lockwood's eyes, seeing the vulnerability and sincerity behind his words.

Lockwood waited with bated breath, his heart pounding as he waited for Lucy's response.

After a moment that felt like an eternity, Lucy's lips curled into a soft smile, her eyes shining with tears. "Lockwood," she whispered, her voice filled with warmth and affection, "I... I love you too."

Lockwood felt a rush of relief and joy flood through him at Lucy's words, a weight lifting off his shoulders as he realized that his feelings were reciprocated.

The room erupted into cheers and applause as Lockwood and Lucy shared an embrace.

"Excuse me for a second" said George.
