CHAPTER 5
SPENDING TIME TOGETHER

It's been a month since I started working and everything's has been amazing
"Yes, ma I have to go" I was currently on the phone with my mother, she was so happy for me that she checks on me every second day and I really appreciate the calls since I miss her and dad obviously
They also remind me to check up on my sister thato, since she now lives alone and also that I couldn't visit her for the past month

Today was a Saturday and I was going to check up on her and also take her out on a date, of cause I got my pay check and I would love to spend it with my family before anything first, I had shared some cash with my parents which they were happy for, now it's thato's turn

I wanted to actually help with her grocery shopping even though my parents do that for her
Finally moving out my warm bed, I quickly make it up then head to the shower for a long relaxing shower something I haven't had for a while now

Getting dressed was a little challenge since I've been in formal wear for a while that I even forgot to dress casual
Just joking but i couldn't find an outfit so I opted on light wash Jean shorts which were just mid thigh and a white t-shirt and my white sneakers, pairing it with my white cross body bag and I tied my braids up

2 hours of getting ready later, I was done and in my Uber to my sister's apartment flat
Getting to her place 30 minutes later I was by the flat and her already for me

She was dressed in a white body con dress with similar white sneakers as me and a similar bag
Can you tell that we are close
Laughing at how we are matching we call for an Uber to the nearest mall

"So tell me about your new job, how is it working?Thato asks when we get into the Uber
"It's been hectic actually, getting used to the work and all" I mumble as I look out the window
"How's been living alone?" I ask her
I had years to myself when I got to university so I know how it feels to live alone,but I wanted to know how it is for her personally
"It's so nice, I can breathe without anyone breathing down my neck" she jokes and I hit her arm giggling, I know I ain't that bad
"It's actually been weird, since I had stayed with someone my whole life but it's weirdly good, my boyfriend can visit anytime and all so its great"she smiles looking down her nails
Chuckling I pull her into a hug
"That's how I felt before my young sister had to stay with me" I say and we laugh quite loudly earning a glare from the Uber driver

We went in almost all the shops in the mall and finally when we felt tired we went to watch a movie
A romcom
I wanted to watch a action movie but my sister was like"no its my day ankere" 
So romcom it is

When night come we were on our favorite fast food MacDonald
I mean we could have went to an actual restaurant but since it's me and my sister we decided that it's either that or nothing baby and since we were quite hungry we went there

Ordering our favorite , Large big Mac meal with Watermelon mcfizzy
Finding our seats outside the restaurant, there was a restaurant right across MacDonald and we could actually see the people since some were also by the outside seats

"Finally we could eat" I mumble popping my ass on the seat looking to the restaurant across us
"And who's fault is it?" Thato asks when she also takes a seat across me
rolling my eyes I look around and I see this guy who's been trying to talk to me by the taxi rank
Remember the Zulu guy
I bet you do

So he was sitting by the restaurant across us and I have to say it he looked different in a suit, he was actually hot not that he wasn't before but he looks smoking hot

"Thato do you see that guy, there" I point at him
he was sitting looking to his right, some guy chatting to him and him looking quite focused
"Yeah the one in a navy suit" she says and nods to him, I also nod
"Yeah" I mumble looking at him picking up his glass and taking a gulp from it
"Mann he's hot" she mumbles and I nod, agreeing with her
"Mmmm why you asking" she questions and I look back at her
"Do you remember the Zulu guy who tried talking to me for about a week" I answer as I see the waiter come in with our food
I could already feel my mouth watering
"Ahhhhhhh" she screams and of cause it caught attention from a few people around us including the Zulu guy making him look at me
I turn my attention to the food which is actually being put on our table
I give thato a glare and i put fries in my mouth, stopping myself from looking to him

Guess what i ate as quick as i could before dragging thato out the restaurant
