We were at the canteen when ma'am suddenly text me telling me to go see her at her office. Like why would she do that its lunch break does she even eat? Or she just doesn't care kung kumain na ba ako o wala pa.
While walking through the hallway Di paren mawala inis ko kay maam. Kairita mabuti nalang idol ko siya. Still lost in my thoughts i opened door without realising na may kasama pala si maam.
"Ma'am ano po problema gusto niyo po bang mamatay ako dahil walang kai-" Hindi ko na natapos an sasabhin ko nung nagkatinginan kami nung lalaking nakatayo sa harapan ni maam habang si maam nakaupo at may hawak hawak na papel.
"Oa mo naman. At dahil nagmamadali ka" she stopped and teasingly smiled. Abat ako pa talaga ginawang masama hindi pa kaya ako nagbreakfast. I just sighed and just closed may eyes for a second "Well, i suggest na maging study buddy mo siya" she continued while pointing at the guy beside me.
Huh? Sino siya?
Nahalata ata ni maam na clueless ako
"Bakit hindi kayo magkakilala? Kabatch kayo hindi pa ba kayo nagkita kahit sa hallway man lang o sa cateen. Like parang familiar lang sa isat isa"
"Akala ko nga senior ko" i snorted. napapiling nalang si maam
"Siya si Vince Torres, mahina siya sa chemistry, will you spare some of your time to teach him?" She replied. Para sa akin parang di siya nagtatanong.
Wtf. College na tayo dapat siya na yung naghahanap ng way para matutu
I stayed calm and looked at my sched. Shit. Lintik na wala na akong tulog nito.
Maam look at me with hope in her eyes while I'm looking at her, contemplating.
"Well, I must say" i took a deep breath and let it out. "You know I can't" I shortly replied.
"Please Ms. Silva okay lang naman if magspare ka ng 1 or 2 hrs" she replied.
"Eh isang tulog ko na yan maam" i replied back.
Maam and i looked at each other for about 5 seconds. The room was quiet to the point that is suffocating.
I pursedmy lips. Fuck i will regret this
"Its oka-" he tried to break the ice but i already made up my mind so i quickly cut him off
"How can I contact you?" I asked the guy but i didn't looked away from maam gaze. Then she slightly slammed the table.
"That's settled then, you can have you lunch na" she said while grinning.
Settled my ass
We both said our goodbyes.
"We stopped in front of the door and faced each other.
"Do you have your phone?" He asked. Then i quickly hand my phone to him. While typing his name he asked " you know you don't have to do this" I felt his pain.
God why do i find this guy cute
"Its not that I don't want to help, my schedule is always hectic so I'm afraid even if i say yes i can't have the time or even compromise my schedule" I sighed. He looked at me while handing me back my phone "But still I'm willing to help you just tell me whenever your free and I'll see to it if I'm also free, okay? Dont worry your not bothering me of somethin' "
"Okay, thanks" he replied. He's not that of a smiler is he
Then i slightly nodded we parted our ways
"Ano na te? Keri pa ba?"
"Sge nalang, keri nalang" sambit ko. Nagtawanan nalang kami
