It was Monday now and Hera hated Mondays with a passion. It had been a whole day since she had seen Rafayel. She didn't know why that was her first thought instead of Jared but it seemed to just make sense for her. She had washed his jacket and was making her way downstairs in her green dress with black tights and black long sleeve under it.

She reached the kitchen and smiled as she watched her dad drink a mug of coffee. Her sister, Bella, on the other hand had already left for school. Hera knew that the only reason Bella left so early is because of her boyfriend, one that Hera did not like.

Hera smiled as she ate some toast with peanut butter and jelly. She smiled as she grabbed her backpack and walked towards her car. As she did that though, suddenly Jared appeared from the tree line. Hera truly wanted nothing to do with Jared anymore and she rolled her eyes when she saw him.

Hera walked towards her car but then a white Ford pickup pulled up right next to it. She looked up as she recognized it and smiled at the driver. Hera made her way into the pickup and ignored Jared. She had the jacket hanging over her arm and when she got in, she tried to hand it back to Rafayel. Rafayel shook his head and looked at her. "It looks better on you than me." He said smiling at her.

Hera looked up at him and giggled as she shook her head. "Absolutely not. I look swamped in it. It's so big on me." She said giggling and looking at him as Rafayel started to drive. "Exactly Hera. That's what I want it to do." Rafayel said smirking to her. Hera looked up at him confused. "What?"

"I want you to look swamped in it. I want everyone to see the jacket that's on you, look at the name on the back, and know to stay away from you." He said smirking as he kept driving. Hera didn't know what to say or do. She didn't know how to act. How could she answer him with what he said?

"But...but why?" Hera asked him very confused. "We barely know each other. You know practically nothing about me. So why do you want them to stay away from me?" She asked as she sat up straight.

"Who says I don't know you? I know your favorite color is Emerald Green and pink. I know that you prefer French Toast over Pancakes. I know exactly what your schedule is." He said as he slowed down and pulled over to the side.

"Hera, I've had a crush on you for years. I don't expect for anything to happen between us since you seem to be going through a breakup but I want you safe." He said as he looked straight into her eyes.
