All the orders, the pressure to do well, making sure everyone was fed, it was all getting to be too much for poor Truffles.
'I can't take this anymore! I can't keep having to come up with delicious stuff on a whim! All this cooking, all these customers, I hate it I hate it I hate it!'
Shocked by what she heard, her assistant Norma took her outside and took her to the beach.
'Uggggghhhhh!'
'Hey, I get it! I've been really tired the last few days, and I've been on the verge on having a breakdown as well.' Norma started.
'I feel like everyone expects me to just keep coming up with 1 dish after the other, and I just feel so uninspired!' Truffles exclaimed.
'From what I've witnessed, I don't think anyone actually expects you to keep coming up with dishes, they just love the food. Maybe this is all in your head?'
Truffles pondered on that theory for a bit.
'Maybe you're right. I really need a few days off. Think we could find a replacement chef?' she asked.
'Maybe ask Dell? He's been making some good stuff lately, I go to his vacation home sometimes and can smell the cooking.' Norma suggested.
