Chapter 1

Author's pov

"Taehyungaa come have your breakfast" As he was getting ready for office he heard a low voice coming from downstairs

"Eo yeobo coming" He shouted while coming down from the staircase of his huge mansion while fixing his wrist watch

Though he tried to sound cheerful and happy but his everyday personality didn't let him and his halmoni (grandma in Korean) guessed it

His grandma sighed but still wore a fake smile on her face thinking that it might ruin the fake smile on her dearest grandson's face

"So???" The older said to the brown eyed man sitting on the table while quietly having his breakfast

"So??" The brunette claimed frowning not getting what his grandma is upto

"How long is this going to take exactly?" The lady said finally dropping her fake smile and wearing concerned expressions

"What are you even talking about Jagi?" He said after finishing his food and trying to avoid her gaze

"You know what am talking about Taehyung" The grey haired woman exclaimed while showing genuine worry on her face

"See jagi I know I am just giving you more worry day by day but you know me very well so I know that you also know this that I am NOT going to stop until and unless I find him and freaking kill him along with his every other partner, I will make sure that even his coming generations will fear the Kim's " He explained while his voice turning rough and harsh and his facial expressions slowly showing the feeling of anger

He doesn't show his emotions to anyone except his only family which includes his grandmother and his only friend Jeon Suwok

Though he shows his emotions in front of his grandma but he instantly regretted letting his inner feelings out right now as he has decided to never let his grandma see his dark side

Just as he realised he was slowly getting frustrated and angry in front of his grandma he suddenly changed his expressions and tried to change the convo and light up the mood as he didn't wanted her to get worried for him in the morning only and stay like that for the whole day

"Anyways leave that you know that we are so close to find them and I promise I will try to end everything ASAP but for now you my darling tell me what would you like for tonight? How about a shopping treat??"

*sighs* "You little bear do you really think I will be able to walk through the whole mall and just shop its not like am a youngster or something that I will buy lots of skincare products or lots of dresses huh?" The old lady claimed chuckling slightly

Although she was in her mid 70s she had a very nice figure as compared to the people of her age since she was all fit and healthy , her face with wrinkles which enhanced her beauty even more and made her look like an elegent lady and her perfect grey hair were the cherry on the top

"Fine you oldie a date night is done no excuses" The charming brunette said while flashing his slight boxy smile and this time they both big goodbyes to eachother with real smiles on their faces

"Be ready at 9, I will come and pick you up " He playfully winks at her and sits in his black Porsche and starts driving

While driving his phone started ringing and flashed Suwok's name on the screen

"Hello" Taehyung said after picking up the call

"Hyung where are you?"

(AN:- Hyung is a term used for big brothers in korean by boys only)

"On my way to office why?" He said to the younger one

"Can you please come to the other office in Gunpo (a small city in Seoul) office please , I have a very big good news for you" The younger exclaimed while trying to sound normal though his voice screamed the amount of happiness he was feeling at that time

Taehyung guessed his excitement and thought that it might be important so he called his secretary Choi Jiho and informed him about his leave for today

Taehyung is the CEO of his Great grandpa's company which then became his grandpa's then his dad's and now his

Everyone knows him as the cold CEO who just worries about his work and grandma but very few people know his other side

Which was leading one of the most powerful group in the underworld which was started by doing some criminal stuffs by his grandpa but as it came in Taehyung's hands he took an oath to not to take any innocent's life and also not sparing any shitty person's life

And those very few people who knows this side of him does not include his dearest grandma as he doesn't want her to worry about him all the time

Though there was a time when she found out about his real identity and was really shocked

She started worrying about his only grandson even more and used to nag him to leave that work

She always wanted him to inherit his father's genes which he got from his father AKA his grandfather as they both were really hardworking and always did what was right to do but at the same time she was always worried of one thing and that was Taehyung being involved in the dark side of the world

She had always acted like a mother to Taehyung and like all the mothers she also wanted to protect his son from every kind of evil which she failed to do with Taehyung's dad

Seeing tae being involved in the darkside of the world which people refer as underworld his grandmother was broken from inside as she thought that she failed in protecting his son from all this negativity again for the second time (after Taehyung's dad)

One day Taehyung returned to his house with blood stains all over his clothes and bruises covering his face

That day his grandmother finally broke down into tears in front of him while begging him to leave all this and just focus on the company

On the other hand Taehyung , not being able to bear his precious grandmother crying

He decided to lie to his grandmother about him leaving the underworld

Though he didn't lied about one thing and that was him still not leaving that one person alone..... alive....

"Good morning master" Everyone stood after seeing their master entering the office carrying the most powerful and dark aura and walking like he owns the world

"Hmm" He hummed while walking straight to his office while not sparing a single glance to anyone

"Oh hyung ur finally here!" The man stood up after seeing him entering inside the office room

"What is it Jeon?" He said while still maintain his cold aura

"Hyung we finally found him.........."

soo here we go with the first chapter of my book i hope you guys will like the further chapters too although i have started writing this story in the most weirdest time when my finals are just around the corner (typical me 🥲) alsoo be ready for the upcoming roller coaster ride of emotions (not in the next chapter but after some chapters) and i know that you might find some starting chapters boring but tbh thas what happenes in the starting of every book right?
I just want you to show some patience towards this story and just go with the flowww trust me the wait would be sooooo worth itttttt
