I was invited by some friends to go on the Abyss season quest because they told me it was quite interesting and worth exploring. I didn't have much of an opinion and agreed to go with them because you had nothing else to do.

But when the appointment date arrived, they all disappeared and left me waiting at the entrance of the Abyss area. Knowing I shouldn't waste my time with them, I went to explore on my own. 'Looks like this area is just as beautiful as the other places, maybe?' I thought and continued walking on the big cliffs.

A big boat was floating in the middle of the sea. Even if I flew everywhere, I still couldn't find anyone.

'Maybe they've gone somewhere' I also don't have enough patience to waste time looking for someone else. I sat on a nearby chair and looked around.

Even though it wasn't as described by my friends, at least the air was still cool and a bit gloomy. I started to feel sleepy and fell asleep not long after.

"Hey..hey? Wake up...Wake up!!"

'What is it?..it must be the Abyss Guide...' I tried to open my eyes and felt like something was getting closer to my face.

Cannoneer pov-
My face was almost close to her face to get a closer look at her face. 'Kinda pretty, isn't she..?' I thought to myself but was interrupted when she jumped up and hit me in the face.

"HEY!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!"

"Huh..?"

She looked bewildered and confused as if she didn't know what had just happened. "You just hit your head in my face..you dumbass" I said with a bit of frustration in my voice, but it gradually disappeared when she stood up and said sorry to me.

That shy look made me feel a little sympathetic. We chatted a bit like introductions and more, but I didn't have much time to waste so I said goodbye to her. But she immediately pulled my shirt back, that shy face made me feel like I wanted to melt immediately, my heart skipped a beat when I looked at her.

"H-hey Cannoneer..can you show me around? I mean..some places are special in this area. Is that Okay..?"

"Why don't you go away yourself? What is dangerous about this area...?" I forced myself to answer in a slightly annoyed tone, but she was also new to this area and didn't have any experience here.

"Okay, just need to show you around, right?"

"That's right!!" Her face was cheerful and lit up like he had caught gold. My heart beat fast when she held my hand tightly like a 4 year old child being taken out by her parents..

He took me from one area to another, letting me experience many interesting things.

The time I had alone with him was wonderful, time seemed to stop and helped me discover interesting things with him. I also captured almost everything in this area, there are only a few areas that are taboo and should not be approached.

"Okay, you know almost everything about this place..is that enough?"

"I think so? Thank you very much!" I never thought that going with someone else would be more fun instead of hanging out with those bad friends. I was always left out when I hung out with them, but this time it was completely different.

Feeling warm and happy when being with someone..exploring new things together and actually now I have a completely different perspective on him..even my feelings for him Completely different, a feeling never experienced in my life.

It gradually turned dark, I had to go back, but it was really too dark to go home safely. But if I stayed, I couldn't. I just said goodbye to him and stood in front of the gate to the Abyss season area.

I sat down tiredly and thought about what Cannoneer and I had done all day, remembering and falling asleep tiredly.
