When Ivy had taken them to the library both of them were stunned at how big the library was. "This...this is a lot Iv." Kou said shocked

"Well this library holds every book ever written for every specie that lives within this kingdom. Not to mention all the spells and knowledge all of the species are supposed to know. There are so many books about each different species that lives here that the library is four different floors." Ivy said with a smile as she walked into the library with her hands together in front of her

"Where would one find books about your kin Ivy?" Ruki inquired

"Top floor left side." Ivy said as she looked at him with a smile

"Then that's where I'll be. I'd like to be able to get as much information about your kin as possible."

"Very well then, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask." Ivy said happily

Ruki then went up the stairs, leaving Kou alone with Ivy. "what will you do love?" Ivy asked Kou

"Being that we're going to be here for life now, I'd like to see what it means to be a vampire here. Surely it's different from what Ruki and I know." Kou stated

"Indeed it is. What you're looking for is on this floor of the library. It'll actually be in the book shelves behind you." Ivy said with a smile

Kou turned himself around as he saw the two large book shelves behind him. "Alright, cool. Where will you be if I need you?"

"Down a bit there are tables and desks. I'll be there writing songs for Riya, Rose and I for our newest album."

Kou nodded his head before Ivy walked off to sit down at one of the tables to write down songs for her and her group. She had a lot of inspiration due to all of the things that have happened within the hours of her being around her father and the company she was around. The library was completely quiet for hours before she heard a loud boom that freaked her out. She got up to figure out what she heard only to see Kou with a book in his hand as he was back first against a book shelf on the ground

"Kou?! What the fuck did you do? Are you alright?" Ivy asked concerned as she went up to him quickly

Kou groaned out and rubbed the back of his head softly. "Sorry for worrying you babe, I found a book that has a bunch of spells that Vampires could do and I wanted to try them out. Seems like the spell I tried back fired on me."

She took the book from him and looked at it only to see that it was an extremely difficult spell book he had picked up. She let out a sigh and pulled him up before she dusted him off. "Babe...I love you but you need to read the labels darling. This is expert level spells. Of course it backfired, you shouldn't have started off with something like this."

"Oh...So that's what that word meant." Kou said sheepishly

Ivy shook her head with a sigh. "Goodness me Kou." She said before she went into the vampire section to place the book back. She then grabbed the beginners book, she then went back to Kou and handed it to him. "Try this one instead."

He read the book and nodded his head. "Alright, thanks Babe."

"Not a problem. I'm going to check up on your brother up on the top floor."

"Alrighty."

Ivy made her way up to the top floor only to see that Ruki had three different books opened at once which impressed her that he was taking getting to know her kin so well. "Seems like I don't need to worry about you Ruki." Ivy said impressed

Ruki looked up from what he was reading to look at her. "Your people are complex. What will happen to children that are half breeds of your people?"

"When I am queen I am abolishing all laws stating that species can't intermingle. It's always been a taboo law that species can't mingle with one another. That they have to stay 'pure', which is nonsense. Being someone who was born in this kingdom-being just a siren sucks ass. there's so many restrictions that we have as sirens. It's easier to be a mixed blood due to some of those restrictions being nullified." Ivy explained as she walked up to him with her hands together behind her back

"I see. So you aren't going to shun your children for being different if they do show signs of being vampire."

"My children will be loved more than my siblings and I have ever been. I also will never treat my children like my parents have treated my siblings and I. I'd never want any child of mine to go through the same thing as I have." Ivy stated as she placed her hands on her chest where her heart was

Once she was close enough to him, he got up and pulled her close to him so she was between him and the table he was sitting at. She looked up at him curiously, she wasn't flustered at all since she held no romantic feelings for him.

"Most women in your position no matter who would do so would be a flustered mess but not you. Why is that?"

"The emotions of a siren only correlate with those of their mate. Had I not have been tied with your brother sure this motion would have made me a blushing, flustered mess.. But that isn't the case." Ivy explained as she looked up at him with a small smile on her face as she placed a hand on the side of his face "When you are ready to face other people, I would suggest you look around for someone to be grounded with."

"What would you suggest me to go with?"

"Honestly? Someone who is here in the castle. That way when we move here when I turn twenty-one you already have someone who can keep you safe."

Ruki was silent for a moment before moved away from her shutting the books, he then looked back at her. "You know the people here more than I ever will. Mind showing me around?"

Ivy's eyes lit up happily as she nodded her head. "With pleasure!" She said happily
