II. Zamoras chapter

Zamora woke up still beaming from the night before, still feeling the rush of excitement rush to her face every time she thought about the man she met. He was everything she ever wanted, believing in first love at sight was such a cliche to her, but at the end of it just meeting someone new and being able to kiss him on the first night was all new for Zamora.

In college, at duke she never got the chance to date anybody, as everyone else was afraid of her older brother. However, of course a few hookups but nothing too serious. She hated how close knit her and her brother were because he always knew who she was meeting and who she was hooking up with.

Turning her phone on, she had a few missed messages from her brother and mom, as well as a new number she wasn't familiar with. Clicking the unknown number she immediately smiled ear to ear, realizing that Jalen truly did mean it when he said he would text her when she got home.

"ugh finally your up, I couldn't find the Advil for the love of me." Samantha barged in, Zamora bolted up and saw her friend still in the clothes from the night before, rubbing the temple of her head.

Zamora chuckled, and put her phone back down. "Girl, it's in my medicine cabinet. Maybe you shouldn't have had so many cherry blossoms?"

"Girl I had such a good time, mora the friends were amazing. Tyler was everything, his smile, his hair it was so soft." Samatha stated, falling onto the bed in complete awe. "we even have a date, and I'm so excited, this will be something fun for me honestly."

"well...your not the only one with a date, it's with Jalen and it's tomorrow and we're going to breakfast he texted me, Samantha he's so kind and wholesome. I've never met a guy who's that sophisticated and respectful."

Samatha just listened to her friend ramble, they both knew this is what Zamora needed. Of course, Georgia and Samatha had malicious hookups all the time, but their best friend was different, she didn't want to have sexual relations with someone again, until she met the right person, her last relationship ruined her and Samatha only cared about Zamora being happy.
