The True Savior?

Chapter 5

A few days after the incident at the hospital with Regina. It had seemed that she was ignoring Emmett, every time Emmett was around to see henry, she would find a reason to leave the room. That was until Regina and Graham had walked into The Rabbit Hole which was the local bar. walking in and seeing Emmett with Lacey in the back corner where the dart board was, looking a little too cozy for her taste. Regina definitely didn't understand why she cared who he spent his time with, but it shouldn't be lacey Mr. Gold wouldn't be too happy to see this. Walking to the counter to order a drink she notices graham has now seen that Emmett was here. Regina knew Graham didn't seem to care for Emmett, so she reached for his hand and gave it a squeeze. "It's okay graham we can go if you'd like." looking down at his hand graham thinks this is the perfect time to make sure that Emmett knows regina is his deciding to walk them over to them.

"Oh, hey Emmett Lacey how are you guys tonight?" Graham asks.

Looking between Regina and Graham, Emmett can feel his anger rising. He takes a sip of his glass of whiskey as he pulls Lacey into him.

"We are good. we are actually about to hit the dance floor, you two are more than welcome to have our seats though if you'd like." Taking Lacey's hand and walking towards the overly crowded dance floor. There's not a whole lot of room to move so Lacey presses her back to Emmett's front and sways her hip. Emmett matches his tempo to Lacey's and the thrum of the base. It was hypnotic the way Lacey's body moved against him. Casually looking up from the dance floor to catch Regina staring at him. His heart is beating rapidly while everything else just seems to slow down. Losing all sense of control turning Lacey towards him taking one last glance at Regina. Lacey hand trace up Emmett's body settling behind his neck. Emmett's hands resting on Lacey's hips before inching back and lower, pulling the beautiful brunette tighter against himself. Lacey now playing with the hair at the nape of Emmett's neck, biting a red lip. Lacey's Eyes are so blue, just pulling Emmett in. Not being able to fight it anymore Emmett leans down and kisses those red lips that have been tempting him all night. Lacey Eagerly returns the kiss. It's hot and heavy, Emmett slides his hand into the back pocket of Lacey's jeans trying to pull her closer to him wanting more. A tongue meets another, and hands trail to the hem of Lacey's shirt. It's when Graham knocks Emmett off balance, which almost takes Lacey with him to the floor.

"Oh shoot, are you alright down there? I hope I didn't interrupt anything." Graham says aggressively.

"Everything is just peachy." standing up from the floor. "Do we have a problem sheriff? because I can Easily fix that." Emmett says cool calm and collectively.

Regina rushing over to hopefully cool down the situation that's about to happen but she's too late. Graham launches himself towards Emmett but expecting it side steps graham as he falls to the floor. Graham rushing up from the floor to make one last effort to get at Emmett. Graham not seeing Regina Quick enough he pushes right into her causing her to fall backwards and hitting her head and Shes out cold. Emmett rushing to her side as Graham just stares at regina lying on the floor.  

"Oh my god, Regina are you okay? come on wake up." Emmett says. Emmett not wanting to waste another second or chance that this could be bad he slides his arms under Regina, picking her up from the floor.

"What are you doing? She doesn't need your help." Graham says.

Emmett stops and turns towards Graham. "Listen here Sheriff, you just let your ego get the best of you and now you've caused the mother of my child to fall on the floor, hit her head and be knocked out cold. If you want to still be on your feet and still conscious, you better back the fuck off." Walking out of the bar and towards the hospital. With Graham and Lacey on his tail, Emmett carries Regina into the hospital. one of the nurses rushes a bed over to him as he sets regina down.

"I'll go get henry. she would want him her." Graham says.

finally having the last straw with this man. "Listen I'm going to say this one last time and you better hear it loud and clear. You go anywhere near my kid, and I will Put you 6 feet down. I do not give a damn about your relationship with Regina. but that is my kid so that makes it my job to tell henry that his mom is here."

putting up his hands in defeat. "Alright man chill."

Emmett pulls out his phone and dials henry. "Hey kid I'm coming to pick you up be ready in 5 please."

"Of course, dad what's going on?

"Henry, I will tell you when I get to you. please trust me."

Grabbing henry from home, Emmett can see the concern on the kids face. "Henry listen your mom has been in some kind of accident, and she needs you there and I need you to be there for her." As soon as Emmett pulls into the parking lot henry rushes out of the car yelling "MOM!" Running into the hospital, Emmett rushes to follow him when he sees Mary Margaret ushering Henry to slow down. Walking up to henry and Mary Margaret Emmett asks. "What room did they put her in?" looking between henry and Emmett Mary Margaret says."13 but she's not in there right now Shes in for a CT scan." Emmett grabs henrys shoulder giving a gentle squeeze. "Come on kid lets go wait in the room for your mom. Mary Margaret is the Sheriff still here?" Emmett says looking around. "Eh no he left shortly after they put Regina in a room. he didn't look very happy." Walking Henry and him to Reginas room to wait for her to get back.

20 minutes later the nurses are rolling Regina back into the room. While waiting for his mom henry had fallen asleep on Emmett's shoulder. As soon as they had opened the door to roll her in and Emmett had seen her, he smiled because he knew she would be okay. Tapping henry to wake him to let him know his mom was back. "MOM... you're back you okay what happened?" a small smile came to Reginas face seeing the worry on her sons' face. "Henry I'm okay I promise, there's nothing you need to worry about. I just have a mild concussion. Everything will be okay I have you and Emmett to take extra good care of me." Henry looks over at Emmett. "You are going to help me with my mom?" henry asks. A little hurt and taken back by the question Emmett recover and response. "of course, kid she's your mom. but its late kid we should let your mom get some rest and we will come back right away in the morning hopefully she can come home then." henry gets up and walks over to his mom and gives her a hug. "Okay mom you get some rest I'll be back before you know it!"
